The cottage is beautiful, cosy and full of character. We went during a cold weekend in December and it was toasty warm. The room was even better than we expected: the bed super comfy, the shower was great, and the whole room was full of lovely little touches like very appreciated biscuits! Brenda did so much to make our stay comfortable, we really appreciated her setting up the table for takeaway fish and chips for dinner. A perfect location for a weekend in Rye, couldn't recommend it enough!

The Shepherds Hut had everything you could need for a perfect summer or winters stay. We only stayed one night but if we stayed longer then the cooking facilities would have been an excellent option. It was nice and warm and the shower was great. We didn’t meet the staff but had great communication with them via email.
