The owners, the staff, the locals and the setting really make this place. The garden is really nice and the building itself is in really good shape and has a lot of interesting historical features to take in. We were leaving very early for a motorbike course and a delicious lunch was prepared for us to take with us as we were missing breakfast that morning. We did get to try the breakfast the next day and can confirm it was delicious and made using proper sausages and locally sourced eggs etc. There was a free live band provided on the Sat night and they were excellent. We really enjoyed our stay.

Nice quite stay. Met on arrival, and checked in with no issues. Was left alone, but advised that ringing the bell would get an instant response from the owners. Great breakfast, even with home made marmalade on offer. All in all, an enjoyable stay.
