I’m a returning guest. Linden Tree were the only ones to accommodate me during the first lockdown. Very pleased to be back as I know they are popular. I had a different room this time. A warm welcome, shown around. Place was spotlessly clean and has everything required for a comfy stay. It’s a really homely apartment. I slept really well. As long as I keep getting the work nearby, I’ll keep returning.

Very close to train station and to the town. Amanda is a great hostess and cooks a wonderful breakfast. Excellent facilities and a great place to stay.

Warm friendly cosy atmosphere. The breakfasts were first class and anything we asked for we got even what was not on the menu. We dined both evenings and the food was excellent. My wife and I were really well looked after and nothing was a problem to the staff. We had a very enjoyable stay and would not hesitate to recommend The Kings Arms.

Had a Wonderful stay at the Bay Horse Inn, from a very warm welcome from the owner, a chat to the locals, a lovely smiley waitress who served us our meal, which we might add, was The Best meal in the week travelling we did. My husbands Steak pie and my Belly Pork, we could just eat again, Superb. Our room was warm comfortable with clean towels and tea/coffee facilities a plenty. We will definitely stay there again when passing. Thankyou

Our third visit, locationwise a good place to start coming from the ferry in Newcastle. Also knowing it's clean and comfortable after a night on the ferry. Great breakfast!
