Very special place. Comfortable room, very clean and well equipped with quality items. Loved the balcony right on the water's edge. Hosts are a lovely family who do everything with generosity, warmth and care. Very tasty, hearty breakfasts with top quality produce. Wish we could have stayed longer. Really can't recommend this gem of a place highly enough.

The host(ess) was excellent. Very thoughtful and caring. Looking after our needs very well without being intrusive. She provided hot croissants every morning if we wanted them. There are all the elements for a good continental breakfast in the room including, cereals, cereal bard, porridge, yoghurts,yes, coffee, orange juice and milk. The location is excellent, taking only 10 minutes to walk into the town. The location is very quiet. The view from the window (we were in a back bedroom) is over playing fields with nice trees planted in it. It is close to both Lidl and a Tesco too.

Perfect location to visit both Wells & Glastonbury, Old Ford Cottage is perfect with great garden and facilities, stayed in the quaint Burcott Room with beautiful en-suite bathroom with roll top bath. Karen & Dave great hosts with great local tips on Cafes/ Restaurants and fully recommend the Continental breakfast to start the day. Would definitely return when we visit the area again.
