Featuring a garden and views of mountain, Craggan is a bed and breakfast situated in a historic building in Ballater, 16 km from Balmoral Castle. We just loved everything! A beautiful place to enjoy the nature (the view to the mountains, watching wild rabbits, birds etc.) after an active hiking day. The room was just perfect. The best breakfast in the UK! The hosts are very friendly and genuinely nice people. We would love to come back soon.

Situated in Dufftown, in a historic building, 22 km from Huntly Castle, Abbeyfield B&B is a guest house with a garden and shared lounge. A delightful B&B in Dufftown. Kira and Tom are excellent hosts and have created a lovely guesthouse. This is an excellent place from which to explore the distilleries and everything this area has to offer. I would recommend it to anyone.

Situated in Elgin and only 600 metres from Elgin Cathedral, The Pines Guest House features accommodation with garden views, free WiFi and free private parking. Lyn and Lee were fabulous hosts and offered above and beyond. Room was more spacious than anticipated with private bath. Quiet even with being on the main road. Delicious breakfast and even vegetarian options (including vegetarian haggis)! And having tea and coffee in the room was nice to have.

Offering a garden and garden view, Room on the River is situated in Cruden Bay, 17 km from Newburgh on Ythan Golf Club and 37 km from Hilton Community Centre. Gillian Cameron took her time to make sure we were warmly welcomed and knew the room and what was offered. She provided us with lots of food and drinks, even creating a platter of meats and cheeses and bread so we can make our own sandwiches. The bed was super comfy and soft, so my partner and I had a great night's sleep.

Featuring garden views, Silverstripe offers accommodation with a garden and a patio, around 28 km from Huntly Castle. Boasting bicycle parking, this property also provides guests with a picnic area. Beautiful, absolutely authentic place. The hostess was great, breakfast excellent, we would definitely return. :-)

Situated within 8 km of Cardhu Whisky Distillery in Aberlour, Bankhouse B&B provides accommodation with a flat-screen TV. There is a seating and a dining area in all units. Staff was super accommodating and kind.

Crawfield Grange, a property with a garden, a tennis court and a terrace, is located in Stonehaven, 23 km from Beach Ballroom, 22 km from Aberdeen Art Gallery & Museum, as well as 22 km from Aberdeen... Very helpful and polite hosts, quiet and super clean place, tasteful furniture, soft and warm bedlinen, feels like home. I would definitely recommend it and of course stay again!

Situated in Mintlaw and only 48 km from Beach Ballroom, Aden House Bed And Breakfast features accommodation with quiet street views, free WiFi and free private parking. On arrival, I was greeted warmly by the owners. Good explanation of scanning in/signing in for track and trace purposes. I was shown to my room and given a tour. I was clearly advised where the breakfast would be served and there is a lot of choice for breakfast, even if I wasn't a big eater. Bonus was that I explained that I wasn't a tea/coffee drinker and the following morning I had a larger glass of OJ! Very thoughtful.

Bogenraith House in Banchory provides adults-only accommodation with a garden and a terrace. This guest house features free private parking and free shuttle service. We chose Bogenraith for isolated location close to many walks and adventures. The house is lovely and surrounded by quiet open pasture land. The inside is very cosy and the furnishing was such a surprise ! The hosts were lovely and go out of their way to make the guests feel comfortable. Would highly recommend!
