The staff was friendly and helpful, when we asked about dining out or finding a laundromat. The full English breakfast was piping hot and delicious . There was also cereal and fruit on the side and lots of hot coffee, tea or cold beverages. We sat in the breakfast room and watched the boats go by. we also enjoyed the pub right downstairs for food and drinks.

Lovely pressed white linen and beautiful, soft bath sheets. Quiet room, excellent shower. Food was delicious with a great variety even for a fussy eater. The full English breakfast was excellent and cooked fresh whilst you waited. The variety for breakfast was huge. Lovely beer garden and ample parking. Excellent staff. Bus out the front for a 10 minute ride to York city centre.
