Very friendly hosts, excellent breakfast and a great location 👍

At the guest house, all units come with bed linen and towels. Good location for an event we were attending at the Rugby Club. Very secure with coded entrance and key safe box. Spacious room, clean and comfy with towels and linen provided. Good sized en suite shower room. Great to have the option of a shared lounge/kitchen area as well. Plenty of places to eat/drink right on the doorstep.

Slept very well, really comfortable bed. I hope to stay there again when I visit the area.

Restaurants, bars and takeaways are within 300 metres of Beechwood and Newcastle’s busy city centre can be reached after a 40-minute journey on the metro. Scenic clifftop walks can be enjoyed on the Leas, which is just 1 mile away. Exceptionally clean and tidy and warm, management first class as was the service. Very quiet at night. I would definately recommend for a stay.

Set in a residential street, this large Victorian house is only a 2-minute walk to South Shields town centre, parks and beaches. It has nicely decorated bedrooms and free parking.

Just 150 metres from Whitley Bay’s sandy beaches, this 4-star bed and breakfast offers stylish contemporary accommodation. Located on a quiet street, The Metropolitan Guest House is less than 5 minutes’ walk from the lively town centre and metro rail station. The staff was exceptional! Lee was so kind and thoughtful, offering recommendations and insights to local attractions and things to do. The room was also so cozy, quiet and comfortable. Can't wait to visit again!

A Visit England award-winning full English breakfast, cooked in the open-plan kitchen, is served every morning in the dining room. A choice of cereals is also available and special diets can be catered for on request. From the 18th of September 2023, for the duration of 3 weeks, we will be unable to serve a full breakfast due to having the kitchen refitted, we will be providing continental options instead.
