I can not say enough about how much we enjoyed our stay. Everything we needed or wanted was provided for us. Chrissy was a fabulous host. The accommodations were spotless. The pictures did not really do our room justice. The upstairs bedroom and bathroom were roomy and so comfortable. Breakfast was a gourmet meal. Each day we were served something different. It was a feast! The location was great. An easy walk to stores, restaurants and buses. Honestly, we hated to leave. You are missing out if you don’t book a stay here.

The room was single - but more spacious than I had envisaged. There was plenty of room for my huge suitcase, and rucksack, a comfy armchair, warm radiators, tv, coffee machine, kettle, hotplate, microwave, dishwasher, fridge with a small freezer. There was also an en suite, with some toiletries and towels provided. The fridge was stocked up with items for breakfast, such as ham, cheese, butter, yogurts, fresh orange juice, fresh milk, and there were also a choice cereals on a shelf in the room, and plenty of coffee capsules and teabags and instant coffee and milk sachets too. I had already done a bit of research and there is a small Asda within walking distance (less than half a mile away) and a bus stop (82) that goes between Dudley, via Bilston, to Wolverhampton and visa versa. I was able to borrow my sister's car for my stay, and there was space for 3 cars on the front, so no on street parking required. There is also a chip shop and Chinese takeaway very close by, again less than half a mile away. I had planned to use all these facilities, but in the end my week panned out quite differently. There was also a good wifi connection. The house felt secure and safe, which was important to me as a lone female traveller. Mike and Carolyn were very warm people, and greeted me on day 1, and then checked on me now and again to see if everything was okay.

El Broadwell Guest House, situado en la pintoresca localidad de Meriden, ofrece conexión de wifi gratis en todo el alojamiento y estacionamiento gratuito con cámaras de seguridad. Excellent location; perfect for the NEC and easy to reach. Breakfast was very good & you could virtually have whatever you liked (Bacon sandwich was a must!). The hospitality of the hosts was second to none; the personal touch really does make a difference. I'd stay here again without hesitation & this is one of the best guesthouses I've ever stayed in.
