Set in Salisbury, 1.5 km from Salisbury Cathedral and 3.2 km from Old Sarum, Caboose offers accommodation with free WiFi, air conditioning, a bar and a garden. The breakfast service was exceptional. Several options including delicious breakfast sandwiches or even a full English. Even the option of a cappuccino or other coffee drink (spoiled us!). Very comfortable and the staff was insanely welcoming and kind at every turn. Allowed us to drop off our bags early and store them on departure. Small operation, worth the money.

Located in Zeals and with Longleat Safari Park reachable within 19 km, The Bell & Crown provides express check-in and check-out, non-smoking rooms, a restaurant, free WiFi and a bar. They did a wonderful job refurbishing this country pub. We had a quirky yet modern and characterful room with plenty of sockets for phones and such. Breakfast and dinner were very good and the Inn is a short 1.7 mile walk to the amazing sights at Stourhead.

Boasting a garden and views of inner courtyard, Green Parrot House is a bed and breakfast set in a historic building in Devizes, 15 km from Lacock Abbey. It has a beautiful new bathroom.

Wingmore has garden views, free WiFi and free private parking, situated in Salisbury, 20 km from Salisbury Train Station. Beautiful true bed and breakfast in a gorgeous part of the countryside, minutes from Royal Oak. The breakfast was tremendous, the beds comfortable, the bathroom clean with a strong shower, and the host was phenomenal.

Located in Bradford on Avon, 14 km from Bath, Herb Cottage provides a garden, car parking and free WiFi. Wonderful cottage on a country road a few minutes from Bradford on Avon. The host couldn’t have been more welcoming and eager to provide for our needs. The beds were super comfy and the bathrooms were excellent with lots of water pressure in the showers.

Featuring free WiFi throughout the property, Prestbury Bed & Breakfast is located in Salisbury, a 7-minute walk from the Guildhall Square and a 15-minute walk from Salisbury Cathedral. We were flabbergasted by the hospitality and by how lovely the bedroom and the bathroom were set up. Ken and Jaquilen welcomed us warmly and did absolutely everything to make us feel comfortable (they even dried our soaking wet clothes!)

The Mill House, a property with a garden, is set in Berwick Saint James, 7.2 km from Stonehenge, 13 km from Salisbury Train Station, as well as 14 km from Salisbury Racecourse. Michael is a lovely person, affable and helpful (he suggested us where to go for dinner and also what to visit in Corwall). His house is very near to Stonehenge.
