Also the balcony was a big plus and nice to hear the ocean sound. Check-in was flexible and easy, which is something we appreciated as we arrived rather late that night. Andy is a very welcoming host, he gave us tips on the area and explained to us how to use the washing machine etc. Would recommend this place !!

We got welcomed with fresh papayas and avocados from the garden. The property is very nice and for us in the perfect location as we were not looking for the touristy sites. Close to fantastic snorkeling spots!

The B&B is in a fantastic location, a very quick walk into town, but with the ocean literally on your doorstep. Our beautiful room backed right on the ocean and it was wonderful going to sleep with the sounds of waves. Every morning the cooked breakfast was delicious, and we really appreciated the useful shelves in the B&B filled with snacks, useful pamphlets, bug spray and sunscreen. Our hosts were very friendly and gave fantastic recommendations on things to see and do during our stay in Hilo. We would highly recommend a stay here!

I highly recommend anyone staying in Kona wanting an incredible experience to stay here. Ricky and his wife are both extremely friendly, kind and hospitable people (as well as both being great cooks). The destination (10 min drive from town up into the hills) provides the most beautiful views of the ocean and surrounding landscape. The room was immaculately clean and much bigger than I had originally thought going by the photos. We utilised the breakfast option and were treated to a variety of delightful breakfasts along with the best coffee I had drunk in Kona that they make with their own beans. The view whilst eating there is as good as it can get as well. Could not have enjoyed our stay more here and if we go back to Kona we will certainly be staying at Hale Hualalai with Ricky. Extras include an outdoor seating area, bed linen and a fan. Breakfast was great! Patio with awesome view. Felt like paradise. Great location, but it is important that you have a car. We really enjoyed our stay!
