The setting and surroundings of the hotel are amazing. The staff are out of this world friendly polite and nothing is too much trouble, they go above and beyond to help you. They're accommodating and attentive. Food was very delicious and tasty with a good selection. The facilities are excellent, showers are large and the water pressure was powerful. The beds were comfortable, with pillows soft but supporting and duvets soft but warm. Towels/linen smelt wonderfully fresh. The room was very clean with great views over the idyllic gardens. Tea/coffee making facilities in the room and large TV (if needed). Breakfast was included in room rate which was a nice touch and very reasonable rate for the venue setting. Overall the exceptionally friendly staff and pleasant atmosphere of the venue were completely amazingly.
Situated in Wessington, in the Derbyshire countryside, this 17th-century farmhouse has free Wi-Fi and free parking on site.

Lovely family suite! Generous sized main room/tv area, great 2nd bedroom with bunk beds and a single bed, plenty of room. Immaculate bathroom with bath and shower, plenty of towels, pillows, tea and coffee facilities. Great breakfast for an extra cost

Great hotel in a lovely quiet estate. Worked well with a 4 and 1 year old and dog. We were able to swim but note that kids are usually limited just to a couple of hours at weekends, however it was half term so there were extended hours.
Between junctions 28 and 29 of the M1 motorway, this Days Inn hotel offers free parking, modern bedrooms and access to facilities at the Tibshelf Motorway Service Area.

It was quiet and we were on the ground floor.
The reception sold me a bottle of beer as the nearby Spar shop was closed

We only stayed one night, and that was to long enough , a little out of the way , but the GPS got there. However, it would have done us a favour if it had not. As the hotel may be okay for illegal immigrants. I have no issue with Alfreton, or wonderful county of Derbyshire, just the rubbish chain of Hotels.

The place I stayed is in the village of Wessington and it is quieter than Alfreton itself.
Alfreton had a good charger for my electric car at a KFC but nearby there were other retail outlets and eateries.
I was mainly there to visit the National Tramway Museum at Crich which is not far from Wessington. There are also good places to walk.
I ate breakfast and dinner at the hotel and had soup and a roll and also morning coffee at the museum.

The only thing we didn't like about our stay is booking.coms site stayed it was a lot closer to where we were spending time with new family at their home. We wanted to be closer so we could all let our hair down . And at the property our room was just off the foyer and the alarm intermittently bleeped the whole time.

The centre of Alfreton is easy to get to with plenty of parking nearby for you to use or simply like most people park up in the big Tesco store rather than trying the 30 minute on street parking. The town has a range of stores and the usual charity shops in abundance. Banks are in good number as well as the ATM machines. It is clean and tidy, looks well cared for by the local council and is recommended for a visit.

The room and hotel were very clean. The staff were very helpful and polite. The food wasn't great and there was a lot of noise throughout the night.
I would recommend purely due to the cleanliness, the staff and the comfy bed, just don't expect to get a great night's sleep..

Good Place to visit , But be warned pub restaurants will not cook food after six o'clock pm sometimes earlier. Some pubs were actually closing at six pm. This is not just Alfreton this is mostly all the surrounding areas
that you may want to visit. Bakewell, Buxton, ect.
Amazing room, location, friendly lady at the desk who cooked amazing breakfast and gave us a very pleasant welcome. Had nice conversations with a few other people staying there and saw a few animals about. All in all was a great time and lovely place to stay.
Room was nicer than what I expected from the pictures, especially size wise. Had a lovely patio and the bathroom was perfectly clean and very nice to use.
Can't say a single negative thing. We would definitely stay here again if visiting the area.
The White Hart was a great hotel the last time we stayed ,but this visit was disappointing. When we booked we were not advised that evening meals would be taken at their sister pub a mile away although we would be taken and returned, The meals were ok although the pie of the day I was informed was Beef and Ale, only to find when I cut it open to be chicken, This I was told would only be on Monday and Tuesday nights, so beware. Room very comfy.
The superior room was definitely a real treat with a last minute booking and so great value, loved the little extra snacks in the room, bathroom beautiful with the best bed and air conditioning. Food downstairs was even better than last time. Our second stay - will definitely choose this hotel first if we're in the area. Great value, great beer, great staff.
Super friendly reception. The room was very clean - home like - and a nice little play to stay for the single traveller. There was plenty of room to park and the farm is really easy to find. The area itself seemed really nice with the Peaks only a few miles away. Breakfast was super and delivered to the door exactly on time.
The hotel is fantastiic, well furnished, modern, clean, nice gardens, plenty of parking, nice breakfast - handy for Alfreton Tesco when you cannot get served at lunchtime. Superb bedroom not wanting for anything - spa bath, fridge with stock, snacks and coffee tray to die for..
Brilliant as usual, spotlessly clean, modern room with good facilities. Friendly, warm welcome. Brilliant quiet location, walking distance to good local pub. Breakfast was delicious! This is our go to accommodation when visiting Derbyshire and the surrounding areas.
Great value, low price I think possibly because the restaurant was being refurbished but still managed to serve a great dinner in a nice setting. Lovely trail for run/walk right behind the hotel.
the room was spotless great sized and comfortable bed ,staff excellent very friendly and approachable nothing to much trouble.excellent for a base to sightsee the area of derbyshire and the dales
Beautifully clean. Ideally located for a quick trip into Matlock & Bakewell. Internal decor was very tastefully done. Loved the basement restaurant area. Plenty of outdoor seating too.
The hotel was warm, clean & welcoming on arrival. The rooms were spacious, well decorated and the facilities were great. Best nights sleep I’ve had in ages the bed was super comfy!
