The property was beautiful but the spa was so so. The locker room was too small and the spa was not connected to the main building and the weather was inclement. Also the food was too fussy and not good for a spa getaway

Beautiful property, close to family we were visiting.
Anthony was very accommodating about a late checkin due to our flight being delayed coming6 hours, and also our early departure time.

The place was big and airy, lovely and clean. It had everything you would need . We were only there for one night so didn't need to use most of the amenities.

The Chilterns turned out to be a lovely area for a Spring stay, especially if you like woodlands, walking and wild flowers. There were countless good places to eat – we chose The Oak in Aston Clinton, where the food was super, and a takeaway Chinese meal from China Water, which was exceptionally good and not at all expensive. There was plenty to do for non-wakers as well – the museum in Aylesbury is very interesting, for example.

Aylesbury has a lot to offer with a good town centre and outdoor market stalls.
There is a well laid out theatre and the cinema, they are both in walking distance from the centre.
Aylesbury is clean. It is mainly a flat city so it's a good place to walk.
There's a great selection of schools fir all ages..they have great scores from the education department.
The worse thing is the number of roundabouts but it helps with road safety looking at the statistics.

What a beautiful place.
What a beautiful place. So much going on with the theatre, markets, shops, bars, restaurants. The place was buzzing with an incredible ambiance for arts and culture.
It has a diverse community and the locals are so friendly. The David Bowie statue didn’t disappoint. I cannot wait to return for a weekend.

I was brought up in Aylesbury but have not lived there for about 30 years. The place has expanded considerably and every person we spoke to - 6 companies - all said that it had expanded too fast and badly lacked amenities... Doctors/Dentists/ Schools etc
3 groups said that whilst housing was a bit cheaper than London, many workers used Aylesbury as a commuter dormitory.
Personally I cannot comment as I am not there long enough

Room was lovely and would recommend as an overnight stay.
Room was lovely and would recommend as an overnight stay. Would not recommend to eat or drink here. Food poor, quite cold and definitely no atmosphere. We were a party of 6 for evening meal - no one else eating. And only 4 others in the bar this was a Saturday night in town centre on the last weekend in November with Christmas round the corner! Says it all really!!

Nice to see another U.K. market town.
Nice to see another U.K. market town. Older buildings around the church. Forget the eatery chains, visit the Nags Head which has a good selection of ales and reasonably priced food in pleasant surroundings.
Breakfast was freshly cooked to order and was delicious and very quick. Bedroom was spacious with a very comfortable bed. The whole lodge was very nicely decorated. The owners were very friendly and welcoming. We received text messages from them asking for an estimated check-in times and what time we would like breakfast on the second day of our stay. We walked to a lovely local pub for dinner on the first evening, and had a very short drive to Tring for dinner on the second night. We were able to park outside the hotel for free.
The dining area/lounge was closed, no ability to dine in, the bar was a fridge in reception which you could buy a bottle of beer. We were not told there was no dining or lounge area to sit in when we booked. Confined to our room only. Poor hotel, basic, the security guard (in the middle of the reception) was FaceTiming his cat when we arrived, then was playing his PlayStation when we left in the morning…Glad it was only one night, as we travelled on the next day.
Stayed at the Townhouse while working on a tour stopping at the Aylesbury Waterside theatre - the B & B was only a ten-minute walk away so was fantastic and would highly recommend to touring crews. There's a big Tesco essentially in the back garden, and plenty of smaller shops and places to eat just up the road. It was quite expensive but I'll blame myself for that as I booked late.
I was very pleased with my stay at Aylesbury, the room felt cozy and the bed was very comfortable. Although I had to share the bathroom, the place felt so much like a home that I felt relaxed and comfortable with that. I highly recommend it for those who prefer something more personal than the experience of a hotel chain.
Best thing about this property are the hosts. Very lovely and accommodating, making you feel comfortable and at home. The 10 min walk to the center along the water canal was a major plus also. There is a Tesco nearby open 24h from Monday to Saturday. I will definitely not look for anything else when I travel to Aylesbury.
The room was gorgeous (I stayed in 104), with high ceilings, a huge bed and a nice size TV. Shower was powerful.
Really easy to find parking (Walton Street cost me £4 for the night) and of course the food and drink is available very cheaply. Hotel was quiet as there’s a more bar styled Spoons round the corner.
Very clean hotel and room. Friendly staff. Big comfy bed with choice of pillows. Good heating/cooling system in room and easy to control. Very good breakfast included in price, also ample parking included in price. Use of swimming pool, jacuzzi, sauna and steam room also included in price.
The rooms were great and had everything you needed, full kitchen facilities and free tea/ coffee and breakfast supplies.
It was so peaceful round there and I liked that you could sit out in the sun and open windows fully and that the area was safe.
room was outstanding - very secure and safe (I am a lone traveller for work). food and drink excellent. wonderful helpful and friendly staff. it’s now my go to stay place in Aylesbury after suffering for months at the Holiday Inn!!
Fabulous place to stay, clean, relaxing and amazing friendly surroundings with beautiful garden. Mike and Julie were really wonderful hosts and provided great breakfast and beautiful afternoon tea. Would recommend this lodge ☺
Dinner was wonderful. Meals were great and the ambience of the venue was terrific. Dog friendly which was a huge plus. Would definitely re-book. Friendly atmosphere. Great staff. Quiet area. Couldn't ask for more really.
We had to leave before breakfast but hotel let us take packs of cereal to eat in our room before leaving. Nice offer well appreciated. We like the rooms and provision of fresh milk in the room for making cups of tea.
Great hosts. Great place to stay. Ample parking. Loved the extra touches such as fresh milk for the room, for tea/coffee, and some fresh fruit.
Will be my first choice to stay in the area when I next need to.
Landlady very hands on, room and building well furnished and clean, and in general was a very pleasant place to stay for the week. Really close to town centre.
Excellent choice, I would recommend it. The only issue was the trafic noise, however I asked for another room at the back of the hotel and that sorted it out.
