A group of 5 of us stayed for one night as we were attending Crufts at the NEC.
Our host was welcoming and accommodating as we arrived, recommending where to go to eat that evening.
We were all shown to our rooms (3 in total), all of which were clean and comfy and given a preorder sheet to fill in for breakfast the next morning for a time that suited us.
The beds were comfy and we all got a great night sleep before our next busy day.
When we came down for breakfast our tea and cereal was already set out on the table and there wasn’t a long wait for the hot food. All of our plates went back empty and it set us up well for the rest of our day.
We would definitely recommend staying here if visiting the NEC or nearby. Our car was safely off the road for the evening and it was a good distance from the NEC.
Located less than 10 minutes’ drive from the National Exhibition Centre, the George & Dragon offers free private parking.

Perfect location for a visit to the NEC. The room was very comfortable and clean and you have the added bonus of an onsite bar 😊 Breakfast was lovely and the staff friendly and helpful.
Situated at Birmingham International Airport, this modern Ibis Hotel is just 300 metres from the airport terminals. The hotel has a 24-hour front desk, and a bar open from 11:00 am to 1:00 am.
The closest 4-star hotel to the arrival and departure terminals, The Novotel Birmingham Airport is just 1 minute's walk from Birmingham Airport complex.

It was very modern and clean. Rooms were extremely comfortable
A lovely village atmosphere.
The nearby road links make for an ideal overnight or longer stop when travelling the country. Ideal for the NEC or Birmingham without the bustle of the city centre.
Beautiful church, with a spire that can be seen for miles.
Swan hotel was where we had an evening meal and breakfast, the food was excellent and good value for money. Staff were very friendly and polite. On reflection I would stay there on my next visit.
Coleshill is easy to get around but car parking might be difficult at certain times.
I would avoid staying at The Coach Hotel on my next visit.

We were exhibiting at the NEC so only a 10 minute drive away. Stayed here 5 or 6 times now and suites all our needs. The high street has 5 Indian restaurants and a fish and chip shop/ restaurant. There’s a Morrisons 3 minute walk away. Free parking. The food available at the hotel is also great value including the breakfast

I grew up in a nearby village so know coleshill very well. It has changed little in the past 50 years, some family run shops still there. Given what are the new to me motorway connections, it is a good central place to stay in order to explore Warwickshire. Be careful where you stay. Some websites are totally inaccurate.

A decent litle place but not enough food places when the pub isn`t serving. I heard the Church Bells ringing so as a ringer myself popped up the tower to lend a hand, then down road to the pub for a couple of pints and a good natter.

Coleshill is a nice semi-residential area in a quaint looking English village, with a fair selection of places to eat and a convenience shop. There's also a Morrisons supermarket and petrol station. Seems to be a busy weekend pub scene.
Very handy and pleasant for a trip to the NEC.
The owner was unable to serve breakfast herself but she laid it all out for us and there was a very good choice. This only worked because we were the only ones in the hotel but for us, on the day, it was fine and good value.
We were there in early December and the property and bedrooms were a little cold as the heating was not the most efficient.
We were made to feel most welcome and overall good value for the money.
I was surprised I booked for £47 hotel are charging£55
Tv didn't work wifi doesn't work in room 19
We had the lady over
She knows there's problem in that room
There was a big fight outside our room in the car park
My Marjorie was really frightened
So it wasn't good value
We met 3 different ladies who works there they were all excellent
Everything was delightful staying at this hotel. Such a lovely ambience and relaxing and time permitting would have liked to stay longer. The staff are exceptional paying so much attention to the smallest detail. Cuisine served hot, even the dinner rolls and breakfast croissants.. lovely and thank you.
A great location for the NEC only took 7 minute drive
The rooms were comfortable and warm
The food was excellent. We had dinner on the Saturday night which was really good. As was breakfast
The welcome was good.
I would highly recommend The George and Dragon
Nothing the room was dusty and dirty, the bathroom floor was flooded, the Tv was broken.
I felt uncomfortable and unable to relax, I left the hotel at 3:30am very upset at the situation the website did not relate to the property.
In centre of Coleshill.
Staff were amazing, let down by the age/condition of hotel, this needs complete refurbishment.
Wood chip on the walls?
Oldest furniture I’ve seen in a long time, stained and dirty looking.
Upon arrival we were welcomed and shown to our room. From that point the hotel and owners did not disappoint. Room 2 was on the 2nd floor facing the street. The room was clean, warm and cosy. Thank you.
Excellent food, helpful staff, clean hotel, well decorated and appointed. Good variety of choices both on the menu for our group meal (for 60+ people) and for breakfast the following morning.
The room was excellently appointed, a very good size and extremely clean. Food was great, both breakfast & dinner. The staff were fantastic and couldn't have been more helpful.
The hotel has a good restaurant. The breakfast is simple bot oké. The room was clean and we quiet. The location is close to the NEC, just a short ride.
