Beautiful hotel and grounds, the surrounding arboretum with hundreds of tree species is the hotels main highlight for me. The main building is impressive and feels very grand too, as does the terrace with sweeping views of the gardens and woodland below. Staff very friendly and hardworking, rooms very clean and the food in the main restaurant in the evening was delicious with huge portions and attentive service.

The room was lovely and the staff really helpful. My evening meal was good and good value for money. My breakfast poached eggs were perfectly cooked - a big bonus! Plenty of parking too - another bonus.

The room was nice and clean, new and well thought out and next to the owners house. It was on a quiet estate and as a single traveller I felt quite safe. There were even a couple of chocolates with the coffee facilities, a nice touch!
