Superb breakfast with full selection of hot and cold choices, really really good. Room was very well furnished with en suite bathroom and all modern fixtures and fittings. June, the host was very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The B&B is in a beautiful location in a working farm setting, all in all a very enjoyable stay.

The cottage was perfect for us and had everything we needed. The mezzanine was cosy and quirky with carpeted stairs so no problems to stay 4 adults in the property. Great communication with clear instructions was also given so no issue what so ever. Close drive to most Cornwall attractions. Would definitely stay here again!

We got a free upgrade due to maintenance work on our original booking! We were very pleased as it was absolutely beautiful.
It was very private, peaceful, and a home away from home. Clare was very attentive and got back to us ASAP if we messaged about anything at all.

Helston has a long history, interesting shops and is a good starting point for visiting beaches, geology and ice cream!Since the by-pass, the town centre is safer! Big Salisbury's, Lidl. Access to the Lizard, Porthleven, Praa sands Kynance Cove all within 20 minutes travel.
I stayed at the Premier Inn with its restaurant, car park and spacious room.

The quietude of the space was so right for me. Lizard Peninsula easy to get to and only took a few minutes.
I loved the Llamas and donkey pottering around the site.
Because the property had a balcony and good outdoor furniture. I could sit there and view the sea in the background.

Helston is a lovely little place. There are nice pubs and places to eat, especially the burger place called Boo Koos . A few good shops to peruse, would stay here again as it makes a good base for exploring the area.

I have visited Helston many times and find that the town is suffering from the results of the pandemic and its affect on local businesses. Having said that the area around is still full of interesting places to visit and nice people.

Helston as a town has been left behind. In poor shape.
Helston as a town has been left behind. In poor shape. However, the surrounding area is wonderful. Porthleven, small but very friendly and welcoming.
Location ideal for exploring the St Ives, Penzance, St Michael's Mount, and the coast from Porthleven round to Falmouth. Wonderful memories 💖. Thank you.
The cottage was beautifully restored and had a very nice interior. It had everything you would need for an extended stay to enjoy the surrounding area. It was picturesque and in a quiet location. The host provided a very informative email detailing things to do, see, and places to eat. We enjoyed his recommendation of the Helston Meadery on Wendron St. It was a short 12 minute walk to the town center. The hiking path across the small bridge nearby was quite enjoyable as well. Overall, we had a very comfortable stay.
Everything!
Our room was so clean and it such good shape that we felt like we were the first guests to have stayed in it.
Sarah, our hostess, was very welcoming, hospitable and helpful. Fresh milk in the fridge and lots of other nice touches.
Heated towel rack in the bathroom that actually worked!
The breakfast was A+++.
Parking immediately in front of the house.
Comprehensive guest book in the room detailing sights and restaurants in the neighbourhood.
Quiet as can be. So relaxing.
Oh man... I don't know where to start. It's all so blooming lovely, the couple who run the place are just absolutely darling. The cute young guys working with them are fantastic too, nothing was too much trouble. The beds were the comfiest hotel beds I think I've ever used, the quilt was like a hug. The location is so cute & was easy to get to places from. Food was outstanding, especially the Sunday roast, it made my trip. Couldn't fault a thing, was amazing from start to finish.
Almost everything was exceptional. June was kind enough to upgrade our room which came with a balcony and lovely views of sunset in the evening. Breakfast was really good, Wi-Fi was good, our room was clean and modernly furnished, but what impressed us the most was how covid-19 safe the provisions were.
June was very friendly and explained everything through out. She was incredibly kind and asked us multiple times if there was something that we needed.
The private Hotel is located just around the corner of local resturants and shops, its a beautiful area. The room was better then shown in pictures it was a very comfortable and the room was bug, we are a family of three but a family of four could have easily fitted in the room. The room and bathroom were so clean, it felt like home. The owners are so welcoming too. I don’t think I can fault anything.
The owner is an amazing lady which makes you feel truly welcomed. Being a big morning eater, the breakfast was one of the best I ever had in a Bed and Breakfast. My day started with a full belly! The bed were very comfortable and the bathroom spacious. The B&B is off the main road by about 300 metres, yet it was very quiet at night which was what I needed!
The attention to detail at Monterey Pines was exceptional. Sarah made our 5 night stay a most enjoyable experience, her kindness and her knowledge of the area were much appreciated. The room and the breakfast were excellent. Buses run from Helston to St.Ives, Penzance, Falmouth etc. We made good use of the bus service to avoid excessive driving.
Quiet location, but less than 5 mins walk to the main road for pubs/shops etc. We used the bus option (during price cap) to get around as we were specifically coast walking - excellent value, and again bus stop less than 5 mins away.
If you have it, take some time to wander around Helston, using the different back lanes - interesting.
Is amazing experience, that what we expected was there. Even staff welcome us with the our national flag, so can't even ask for more. Is the best glamping sleeping adventure I ever been to. Breakfast was absolutely amazing, a lot better what is served on most high rated hotels. Thank You
Best hosts I've ever had. One of them actually collected me from the town of Helston some distance from the property! The location is lovely with a grassy garden to wander in. The cottage itself was lovely with lots of character. Loved the place and would love to come again.
I liked the location very central in Helston, a beautiful town.
Great idea to convert the mill, has some charm but needs more maintenance.
The living room was spacious and the host left us everything we needed including a very well equipped kitchen.
Accommodation was clean and comfy, nice location between lizard, helston and mullion.
Main bedroom was large and additional toilet was nice to have. For an extra special treat visit The Ship inn Mawgan-In-Meneage food was unbelievable
Nice quite location but only a short drive from Porthleven, which is a charming town with plenty of character and good places to eat. Not far also from several great beaches and good shopping facilities in nearby Helston.
Very nice sunny room with comfortable bed. Within 2 mins walk of busses to various parts of coast to walk the coast path without moving every night. Breakfast fruit muesli and yogurt was delicious.
