Leonardo Royal hotel is lovely and in an excellent location. Rooms were quiet, couldn't hear any noise [apart from the traffic] like some hotel rooms. Room was nice and big with a lovely sea view. Breakfast was good, plenty of choice.

This was our second stay at the hotel. Good value to and breakfast is good too. There is plenty of parking and close to a bus stop too.
I have chosen to give a high score because overall, it was a good stay.

The marina and riverfront area is quite nice to walk around in the evening. The Old Ship Inn have very surly and uncommunicative staff unfortunately, but the Harpers Steakhouse is a much better option. That A27 gets busy and noisy in the mornings (and presumable evenings too) with lots of commuter traffic on a major 'rat-run' / access route.

Loved the small space with modern comfort of comfortable bed, large tv, heating and modern shower. Sofa bed available. Swimming pool in garden with patio seating for breakfast if weather good. Lovely secret gem.
Although access from pub car park there was no noise from the parking. Main road noise is as expected.
Microwave and kettle good. Take something to be able to wash and dry crockery. Basin only small round in toilet area.

We were using it as a location midway between places we were visiting. Expensive to eat in the steakhouse although it smelled good! Situated on a main road but the rooms were at the back of the property so quiet.

it was in a pub car park
we would not recommend it.
we went back instead and didnt stay in the area any longer as we were so disappointed .
The host said that they would offer a refund but a week or so later, they refused to do so.
We booked this hotel because we were cruising from Southampton the day after our stay & wanted somewhere close by that served food. It exceeded our expectations - it was easy to find & there was plenty of parking. The bedroom & bathroom were modern & clean. It had everything we needed, including a Nespresso machine & the bed was really comfortable. The restaurant was clean & modern & the staff friendly & the meal was excellent. Would definitely stay here again if in the area.
Reception was fast and efficient. My room was easy to find and was spotlessly clean. The bed was really comfortable and the shower easy to use. The hospitality tray was generously stocked. The Smart television had radio channels but a separate Roberts radio was also supplied in the room. Breakfast was superb with the full English cooked to perfection and very filling. Altogether a lovely hotel with friendly and efficient staff.
The room I stayed in was perfectly acceptable and exceptional value for money. The attached pub food was really good fayre and the continental breakfast was also good. In terms of location, it's easy to get to from Southampton and is in close proximity to other good places for food if you wish to wander. For those that like a walk, the hotel is 2 minutes away from a lovely path taking you alongside the Hamble.
The hotel is beautifully presented and all the appliances are top notch.
I loved the decor, it was sympathetic to the area but it was modern and stylish.
The shower was powerful and clean. A little snug. The toiletries smelt divine and there was plenty for everything you needed.
The bed was the comfiest I've ever slept in.
This is a lovely quirky accommodation, well equipped, and perfect for a short break. It is small but that adds to its charm. It has outdoor space which you wouldn't get with a normal hotel/B&B room. Will definitely stay again. Selda was also very friendly and couldn't have been more helpful and welcoming.
Brilliant location, great value for money, friendly staff and a very comfortable/modern room. Easy check in/check out process, and parking included for hotel guests.
