Lovely clean room with comfortable bed and all of the facilities Excellent breakfast with the best choice served hot and freshly cooked to order, great coffee too. The town of Port Erin is situated around a beautiful coastline, and the bay itself is stunning. The local people are very friendly and helpful. Transport to-and-from the town is excellent, there being regular buses to most parts of the island, and the train service is efficient and quaint. Shopping was not so good during our stay (late April 2024) as there was only a small Co-op supermarket, with limited stock, and an even smaller Spar with the same limited goods. However, Tesco were in the process of developing a large store in the centre of the town (not sure of opening date). Note, the pubs are good with nice meals served.

Beautiful little seaside village, relaxed and friendly, walking distance from Falcons Nest Hotel which is a great place to eat, especially lovely Sunday roast, reasonably priced. Small parade of shops including Newsagents, Co-Op, Fish and Chip shop. Nearby, Chemist, Post Office. Delicious ice cream at Scoops cafe. Regular bus service into Douglas every 20 minutes. Steam train station and museum, closed on Tuesdays

It is a beautiful little village but everything you need is within walking distance. A Post Office, Chemist, 2 good gift shops, several cafe's, a really good fish and chip shop, and a several outlets that sold Davisons ice cream. Proper pubs and bars. Not to mention the train station which is lovingly maintained and straight out of an Enid Blyton novel. Very easy to get round as it's mostly on the flat except for when you drop down on the beach. It is also well serviced with buses as well. It has some very interesting local history as well which the Falcon's Nest is directly involved in.

Port Erin is one of the most scenic areas of the island especially if you get a good sunset. Plenty of walks, great beach and local cafes/pubs. Great place as a base to explore the rest of the island too.

A lovely place to stay in Port Erin, with very friendly hosts. English breakfast is excellent, but the big surprise was Chinese "dim sum" for breakfast! Delicious. The room was very comfortable, and the guest house is a short walk from the beach, local shops and the railway station. The steam railway is a fun way to get to Douglas for a day out - highly recommended.

Well equipped apartment across the road from main hotel. Large car park outside. Modern furnishings, fully equipped kitchen inc washing machine full cooker microwave. Good bathroom with large shower. Didn't actually use main hotel so can't comment on that. Location close to beach, which is clean and safe. Shops nearby, heritage steam railway very close.

This is the best place to stay in Port Erin. It is strategically located, less than 5 minutes away from the town centre, and has an undisturbed view of the ocean. The apartment is very spacious, clean, and very comfortable. We will definitely going back to stay there.

Breakfast was good. The locality on the front was good. The bar area looks like it had just been renovated. The food, beer and staff were good. Hopefully when the renovations are complete the hotel will be returned to its former glory.

The location was excellent, a short walk from town, bus terminus, train station. The accommodation was spotlessly clean. The proprietor was prepared to be flexible over such things as deviating slightly from the breakfast menu.
