All good. Just room for 3 people is super small. And bathroom is not separated room. It is a bit uncomfortable if you are just friend traveling together. To get privacy after shower it better that one goes out. But it is manageable. Beside this, all good.

We absolutely loved this hotel. Travelling with my son & our 2 dogs this suited our needs perfectly. The grounds of the hotel were more than adequate to walk the dogs round & the room sizes were fantastic. We were blessed with the weather so sat out in the garden & enjoyed food & drinks from the bar. Would absolutely stay again.

Good location with parking on site and bus to Edinburgh about 4 minutes walk. Lovely staff. Clean, comfortable room. Basic but plentiful breakfast each day.
A friendly, family-run hotel situated in one of Fife's picturesque coastal villages, specialising in fresh fare, using local Scottish produce where possible.

Queensferry is a lovely place to walk around.
Queensferry is a lovely place to walk around. There are lots of excellent restaurants and coffee shops. I had lunch at the Railbridge Bistro and a lovely dinner at the Thirty Knots restaurant. There are nice little shops to browse in. Queensferry is very near Edinburgh and there is an excellent train service into the city from Dalmeny Station.

Great place to base yourself for trips to Edinburgh or Livingston. Our son loved watching the trains cross the forth rail bridge, the aquarium and the ice cream at the little parlour. Breakfast at down the hatch was also delicious.

On this occasion, I did not stay long but it is a very interesting place with easy access to all parts of Scotland thanks to the Forth Bridges. There are small shops as well as supermarkets and lots of lovely places to eat, most with spectacular views while you eat. I think the best thing is just wandering around on foot, without needing a car, and exploring.

The Dakota Edinburgh is very conveniently located near the international airport. The hotel/airport shuttle was always available. If you have an event at the Dundas Castle, this is the place to stay. It is a short mile from the hotel. Queensferry to Edinburgh is about a 1/2 hour drive.
It was great. The owner was very kind and solved all the problems we had. I couldn't speak much English, but she explained everything to me carefully. And when you go out into the hallway you can hear the parrots whistling. It's very pleasant. The bus stop to Edinburgh was just a 3-minute walk away, so the location was great. It's not a hotel, so it's a bit inconvenient, but the price is reasonable and the owner is a great person, so I'm very satisfied. Thank you very much.
Location was great - S. Queensferry wonderful in and of itself; perfect base for exploring Edinburgh (bus stop just a few steps away). The loft was perfect for our needs; nice kitchen, very comfy queen-size (or maybe king-size?) bed, well-equipped kitchen. Loved the video provided prior as a "user's manual". Every lodging has different systems (access, heat, etc); really appreciated not having to figure out how things work in the Loft.
Dakota hotel seems well laid and urban stylish type of hotel. The bedroom well presented and secured. No disturbances from neighbors. No noise from surrounding. Hospitality tray with teas, coffee, kettle, drinking water and sachets with milk supplied. There was a hair dryer and an iron and iron board. Bed comfortable and bedding was brilliant white as towels were provided.the whole experience was very pleasant.
Lovely hotel just outside Edinburgh. Great bar and restaurant. Room quiet if facing the river, otherwise can be a bit of traffic noise at front, however never caused any sleep issues as after 10pm this died down. Rooms very comfortable, clean with good facilities. Have stayed before and would stay again.
The staff were brilliant throughout, the food was delicious and the whole hotel is absolutely gorgeous. Views were stunning and location was perfect. Well appointed and specious room. Free on site parking is a huge bonus for the location. Loved our stay at this historic inn.
The location was central to Edinburgh, Stirling, and the roads that head to the Highlands. The house was extremely well kept, beautiful, impeccably clean, and had all the modern amenities. The instruction binder on-site was thorough and left no questions unanswered.
I loved EVERYTHING! The room was very comfortable and huge, with a view out right out my window to the Forth Bridge. the location was perfect for exploring South Queensferry and surrounding areas. I also loved that the inn had its own private carpark.
Lovely welcome, comfortable clean room with fab views. Perfect location for everything we planned. Managed to get free parking a short distance from the property. Plenty of eating places within south queensferry, overall a great stay
Amazing room (gutted I didn't have more time at the venue but it was a real whistle stop tour) in a great location for the bridges & a short trip from Edinburgh. Very clean and great size. Will certainly stay again
This is an old property on the main High St of Queensferry and hence there will always be some imperfections when compared to modern hotels. But the room was great, clean and comfy and the service was excellent.
Perfect in every way ! Queensferry is just amazingly beautiful and charming.
Incredible breakfast, welcoming and lovely host.
Extremely comfortable and just 30mn from Edinburgh.
Would recommand blindfolded !
My favourite hotel. 2nd time I stayed at the Dakota Edinburgh. Love how peaceful the rooms are, so well insulated. Always have a great night. Location is perfect right next to the Queensferry bridge.
Wonderful airport hotel with a great restaurant. The shower was the best I’ve had in any hotel. We were in Scotland during a heat wave and after 2 weeks of hot weather the the AC was appreciated.
See above. Carole made us more than welcome and brought extra logs for the fire. South Queensferry is a perfect spot, easy walkable access to Dalmeny Station for a 20 minute trip to Edinburgh.
Location exceptional. House has character. Hosts extremely friendly and helpful. Abercorn estate and surroundings lovely. Good base for seeing Scotland especially Edinburgh.
