Location was absolutely ideal for us. Room (first floor to the left of entrance) was spacious and with view of trees and driveway.
Hot tub was lovely (although the jets aren't at all strong enough).

Nice olde worlde friendly place and in the main was fine for what I needed. My 1st pint of bitter beer was the only one as the barrel was finished so I had to switch to lager but these things happen in village pubs. The cooked breakfast was very good. 8:30 AM availability, not so good.
The room could have done with a chair instead of just a backless stool although the ensuite was fine.
I was okay with the resident small dog sitting by me at breakfast but the only other couple there were not so tolerant.

Nothing. We were left waiting outside the property for an hour in the rain when she finally arrived she was swearing and screaming at her little dog she clearly leaves alone all of the time.

Great roads, you can get most places quickly.
Great roads, you can get most places quickly. A very green town with lots of trees and grassed areas. Good shopping centre and a great central location for visiting other local places such as Birmingham and Stratford upon Avon for example.

The town offers most if not everything you would want on a trip away. It’s close to Stratford-upon-Avon birthplace of Shakespeare that comes alive at 10am. Easy to spend a couple of days there with activities. People present friendly and the town feels safe.

A good town with a lot of big stores. 2 Wetherpoons and a good kebab shop(Pepenos) opposite the royal enfield wetherspoons. If this is your thing, you can't go wrong. All of this just a couple of hundred yards from the holiday inn express

Redditch is a pleasent town.
Redditch is a pleasent town. The hotel is near the centre and importantly the station. The hotel could be cleaner with rubbish left in the corridor overnight. I had the feeling that the staff were not very enthusiastic about their employment and the guests they looked after. Upper management needed to spend some time to look how the hotel had degraded and make sure staff enjoyed the environment that they worked in and what it meant to work in the hotel trade. It is very important to keep tables and the buffet area clean, the foyers clear of cigarette buts and corridors clear of pizza boxes and Mc Donald bags. Just these small things would bring the hotel back to its previous excellent level..

I think the staff can be a bit more helpful and maybe the right attitude to work will go a long way in making visitors feel more welcome.
The hotel is a bit dated and facilities could be better. We used the Jacuzzi and noticed it hasn’t been properly cleaned. The facilities are basic and not much to todays standards.
You also have to request to have a fridge in you room which I find a bit surprising. Most hotels nowadays have small fridges in Rooms for guests to use.
The gardens are nice and well kept and the hotel has walks close by which was a big bonus. Very good location but sadly there wasn’t a swimming pool although there’s a jacuzzi to use if you book it in.
Very nice and comfortable hotel. Due to covid had dinner and breakfast in room, all well organised. Staff very friendly and efficient. Bar area looked nice so sure it would be even better once back to some sort of normality but the interim arrangements were well done, appropriate and the hotel did its best with the Covid conditions. Nice gardens, terrace and also has a spa area with hot tub and sauna, we did not use but a good asset to an hotel. Good location, quiet and felt a rural setting.
On arrival no explanation given for meal times. No information on hotel displayed anywhere.
No explanation of buffet arrangements or dining arrangements. No explanation of menu options.Wine on wine list not available.
No Wi-Fi info given, had to ask.
We would have liked the hotel to have information board.
We used the hotel as a base to visit the Adventure Bike Rider festival, so we only slept there. You get what you pay for - the bed was comfy, the room was quiet & clean, and parking was free & easy; that was all we wanted. Cheap & cheerful.
The room was very clean, wifi good, and easy check in/out. Hotel located in a semi-rural area so very quiet at night. We had a car so getting there was easy, not sure how easy it would be with public transport.
I and my girlfriend love the Flat 9 ,and when we want to stay in Redditch, we always check the available days for it.
The host is a kind and friendly.
See you soon,
Evren and Rosie :)
Fantastic owners, very understanding, brand new furniture bed was so comfortable, very clean, & quite, and not far to walk to redditch Town, certainly will recommend this hotel
What you would expect from an HIE, reliable predictable.
Clean, comfortable at a good price in a really good location, just 2 minute walk to the train station.
Lovely grounds but central location to redditch amenities. Staff were really helpful. Dinner was gorgeous. Room was sound proof and the bed was really comfy.
