Fab location, good price, friendly welcome, good communication, modern facilities. Room was ready early which was fortunate. Vending machine in reception great if you have munchies/need cold drink (make sure have change), there's also additional milk/tea available, and seats there to wait. Was quiet on evening which was fortunate being next door to a wine bar, which is a bonus for looking for place to eat/drink/nightcap. 10% discount cards for wine bar, fish n chip and towards next stay at hotel all very welcome! Pleased with shower, tv, hairdryer, towelling, kettle and card fob for door, compared to other seaside premises very modern. Would recommend.
This seaside hotel has a peaceful location, just 5 minutes’ walk from Skegness Beach.

Skegness is your typical seaside resort, on a decent day it was fine but the weather was dreadful so we found little to do. We did the dinosaur world and aquatic centre but unless you like arcades there isn't much else. The rides in the theme park closed due to the weather so we were left wondering around and going back to the site. On a good day however the beach is lovely, there's donkeys, a fair ground, outdoor swimming at the nearby leisure centre, crazy golf and the usual seaside stuff.
The food can be costly and gluten free fish & chips x 3 cost nearly £50 which I thought was steep. There was plenty of chip shops you could shop around for a better deal as long as you don't have allergy's. There are supermarkets locally so if your like us and you have cooking facilities it's easy to do your own food.
We have an electric car and quick chargers are few and far between. There is one at the Co-Op but it's a max 1hr stay and if you end up queuing for it then you don't get a full charge. There are slow chargers at B&M so if parking for the day it's OK but expensive.
On the whole Skegness is great for families and kids of all ages

Dont believe all the negative reviews about Skegness being...
Dont believe all the negative reviews about Skegness being the worst seaside resort in the Country - even today 14/05/24 in the Daily Telegraph online version an article was proclaiming such!
I first went when to Skegness / Ingoldmells when 13 back in 1975 and while I left an almost 40 year gap between my follow-up visit in 2014 - I return several times a year in summer ever since and always look forward to it for a cost effective break & good fresh sea clean air.
I also go to Blackpool, Bournemouth as frequently as I do Skegness and while all three places & beaches have their own unique appeal - Me personally I think Skegness is better that Blackpool & Bournemouth - I prefer the beach to the other two & the cost if you know where to go & when to book is way cheaper than going to Bournemouth and probably on par with Blackpool.

Old school family holiday destination.
Old school family holiday destination. Fun fair, crazy golf, donkey rides, arcades, parks, aquarium and nature land seal sanctuary. Skegness has everything from chip shops, icecreams, donuts and seaside rock. For the adults there’s shops, bars and nightlife and the embassy theatre for an excellent show.

I loved Natureland Seal Sanctuary and the Aquarium.
I loved Natureland Seal Sanctuary and the Aquarium. I walked for miles along the seafront and enjoyed Slushies and Ice cream from stalls near the clock tower. My favourite meal was a crab salad from the Seafood cafe near the Tower Gardens
Very warm welcome from Murray when we arrived, explained everything to us and we were able to check-in early. He also gave us a map of the local area showing where we were and recommendations of restaurants from previous clients which were both very useful.
Very good location within walking distance of beach and town centre.
Room was very comfortable with plenty of tea and coffee for us.
If we were returning to Skegness we would return to the Kildare.
Nice welcome and everything was explained quickly and clearly. Very clean room with clean minimal decor (which I like) and tea & coffee in the room.
Good shower with easy-to-control hot water and the towels were like having a cuddle, very good quality. The bed was nice and comfortable.
Easy access with keys after hours and a great location just a 3-4 mins walk from the seafront and town centre.
Lovely friendly guesthouse, happy to stay again.
Breakfast was excellent. Location is good. Barbera couldn't do enough to satisfy you, nothing was too much trouble for her. Hotel very clean, rooms a little on the small side but she realises this fact, as it is reflected in her prices, but also very comfortable. And lovely little touches about the place..
The caravan was kept to a high standard with modern furnishings and everything was clean. The park isn't too far away from the main attractions and the buses into Skegness town centre are relatively frequent, and the walk is under an hour. The food available on site was delicious and good value for money!
what wasn't there to like, the lodge was stunning, had everything we needed and more. one of the most peaceful places we as a family have stayed, the hot tub and dishwasher were a great hit with the kids :). not far from fantasy island and Skegness raceway. the tvs in each room made life easier too.
We stayed here for the first time and was very impressed. The room had everything we required. The bed and armchairs were very comfy and the room clean. Situated on a quiet tree lined avenue but close to the promenade and town centre. If we visit Skegness again we will try and stay here again.
We decided to stay over in Skegness this was booked very last minute, really close to town centre, details were sent via text as my phone battery was about to die. All very helpful would definitely stay again
Rosie's was perfectly placed just five minutes walk from seafront and shops.
Our room and bed was very comfortable and hardly any noise could be heard from other guests.
Breakfast was okay.
Hotel was fine but looking a bit tired & in need of refurbishment. Breakfast was good. Location is very convenient for Skegness town. Great there is free parking available at the hotel.
Very good location close to seafront but far enough away from town centre noise. Breakfast was good. Staff were brilliant considering they only took over the day before we arrived
Was absolutely amazing would deffo stay herr again staff was amazing food and bretfast was to die for and bed so comfy and such a beautiful hotel would deffo stay here again
