The Christopher hotel exceeded our expectations…from the friendly, efficient welcome at reception, complimentary drink at the bar, the friendliness and efficiency of breakfast team, comfortable cosy bedding. Hot shower. Clean room and a fabulous breakfast. Great location for visiting both Eton and Windsor.
The Christopher Hotel provides an all round quality service which puts many “luxury” hotel chains to shame!

Windsor is very attractive, beautiful buildings, the castle is fabulous and ever present as you go about the city. We went early in the season( April) and the as the castle isn't open to visitors tues/wed the town / riverside etc was very quiet which was lovely. We were leaving thurs afternoon and visited the castle first thing , we had booked our tickets online which we were very pleased of because of the queues. It was fantastic walking around the staterooms and grounds of the castle- extraordinarily beautiful and very interesting and quite moving to have access to st George's chapel.
Suddenly the streets were heaving with people and school parties.
There are lots of places to eat - mostly chains, but we found an excellent greek restaurant by the river.
We also went on a river cruise which was very pretty and interesting. Everything was very close by. I think 2 days was perfectly adequate time see all windsor has to offer.
The station was right slap bang in the middle of town and even the riverside station was only a ten min walk from town centre. Every where is beautifully kept and clean.

You don’t need much time in Windsor as the only main attraction is the castle. We did lots of walking around the town and went in the castle. On our second day we struggled to find something else to do. But I would recommend the duck tour ! Excellent service and hospitality. Very educational and a great hour out.

A must see is of course St George’s Chapel and Windsor Castle, beautiful walks within the grounds and the Long Walk.
Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday you are given a real treat of seeing the parade of changing of the guard a fabulous spectacle.

We had a day at legoland and a morning at Windsor Castle. We ate out in Windsor both nights and enjoyed the restaurants we visited. There was plenty of choice. We could have had another couple of days and explored more.

Everything was close to the property, eateries ,shops, lots of walking if you enjoy walking, coffee shops, the Long Walk, Eton and walking along the river Thames. Also good bus connections to Legoland outside the Castle. Can’t say there was anything we didn’t like.
We love staying at Castle Hotel, always a very warm welcome- staff are very attentive, polite and efficient.
They always take the time to welcome our son too (who is 5) and make him feel like a special guest, which we love.
The recent refurbishments of the bar and addition of the new outdoor space is lovely.
Breakfast is always a really relaxed atmosphere, booking a time slot has made it more so too.
We are yet to sample the afternoon tea which always looks fabulous!
Excellent location and well appointed apartments near to Windsor centre.
The management provided bread, butter, milk, tea, coffee and sugar.
Beds very comfortable and excellent quality towels in the bathrooms.
This two room apartment was easily big enough for two couples sharing (there were just the two of us), which would make it extremely economical as opposed to two hotel rooms.
The private off road parking felt very secure.
Lovely hotel about a 5-10 minute walk from the castle so ideally located. The staff were very friendly and the breakfast was very good. The communal areas were very nicely decorated but felt the room was a bit dated but the hotel was very clean and despite only staying two nights our room was cleaned on day two. Car park was small but we pre-booked so it wasn't an issue. All in all a very pleasant stay
Only a 15 minute walk to the castle and parking if needed (£13 per day). The hotel was clean and tidy and the room clean, quiet and comfortable. The staff were very good and although the restaurant was busy for breakfast we were there at the busiest time and there was still plenty available. The hotel was exactly what we needed and I would recommend it.
The food was really good at the Carvery. A generous complimentary breakfast and dinner the night before was very reasonable. The bus to Windsor old town/castle was right outside the hotel and very convenient. We'd like to give a special shut out to Tina, the receptionist. She was extremely helpful and went beyond her duties to help us out!
The bedroom was very clean and comfortable, with ensuite shower and toilet and a large screen TV.
The lounge was very nice and the facilities, such as tea, coffee, microwave and toaster, very good.
The location was excellent with the Castle and Theatre just ten minutes walk away and a large car park at the rear of the hotel.
Wanted somewhere to stay in Windsor with a friend and our 5 year olds - didn’t want to be split up in hotel rooms. Flat was perfect for the kids to spend time together and a great location for Legoland and Windsor Castle. Really clean and quiet. Host was very responsive to messages. We had a lovely break.
Breakfast was superb with a lovely view over the river. Parking was nearby at the railway station which was easily accessible to London. The hotel was centrally located in Windsor which made it easy to get to the Castle and restaurants. The view from our room was amazing as it looked up at the Castle
The staff were lovely and very helpful. And the parking was tight but there was enough for us to park as we didn’t leave the car overnight but they let us park anyway.
Very happy with my stay and Breakfast was wonderful. I would recommend this hotel to stay as it is so close to Windsor castle.
Beautiful, historic hotel. The morning breakfast was excellent. The room was very nice and comfortable. Great location. Right next to the Windsor Castle as well as the Thames River and all of its wonderful shopping areas. They also have a spa with massages available. Friendly staff.
The reception guy was so so helpful and attentive to all are needs he really was a credit to his hotel well done the hotel is situated on Eton high street a stones thro away from the castle beautiful hotel in a beautiful location and really value for money
Location, location, location!! This location was amazing. Literally two minutes walk to shops and five minutes to Windsor Castle and the train to London. Couldn't have wished for a better location!
The hotel is in a great location with plenty of food and drink options. Right next to the Windsor Bridge. The staff were helpful and friendly. The shower worked fine. The bed was okay.
Friendly and very helpful staff. Lovely hotel lobby. Clean throughout. Good breakfast with a pleasant ambiance to start the day. Very close to Windsor Castle.
The air conditioning in the room was good. Breakfast was quiet which was nice. No groups of businessmen who usually stay at hotels closer to the station.
