We loved the location of the property, as it was perfect for our visit to see a gig at The Halls, just a short walk away. The room was very clean and comfortable, with everything that we needed. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming. We had an issue when the TV in our room not working, and they promptly and happily assisted in looking at this for us, and allocating us a new room, which was greatly appreciated.

The city of Wolverhampton is amazingly only a short and very pleasant, easy 7 mile drive of the inner-ring road, reached through the lovely leafy suburb of Tettenhall. There are numerous museums within a 10 mile radius related to the Black Country. A number of these Museums are 'Living' Museums, depicting life as it was at the time of the Industrial Revolution. Nearby is the RAF Museum at Cosford, and the beautiful village of Much Wenlock which has now been recognised as the birthplace of the Olympic Games model. And all around is the glorious countryside and sights of Shropshire, surely one of the UK's most undervalued counties.

Lots of places to eat.
Lots of places to eat. Good shopping centre within easy walk of hotel. Need to know your way around a roundabout and ring road the traffic system takes a bit of getting used to. Friendly people in stores although some had problems with my Scots accent and my Scots money.
Great breakfast at Gatehouse and its served until Noon so you can have a lie in.
Lovely scones in the M&S cafe in the shopping centre.

Owner of property lacks manners, customer service, communication, and super rude. She has no courtesy to speak to us. She has no empathy or sympathy towards humanity!

Wolves is a city I love, people are pleasant, helpful, you can go out safely at night. Multicultural a literal melting pot, just perhaps infrastructure needs updating a bit but I believe this is underway.

Wolverhampton has a bad press but is well worth visiting.
Wolverhampton has a bad press but is well worth visiting. It has some excellent leisure facilities, easy access to a number of tourist attractions and beautiful surrounding countryside. The city centre is easy to get around on foot but the use of a car is preferable. Neighbouring villages have a range of independent coffee shops, restaurants and premium pubs.
Spotless, quality bedding and towels. Everything you needed for a short stay.
Surroundings felt safe, nice quiet area. Great communication with Jay and clear instructions for access to room. Pictures did not do the room justice, it is compact and bijou but perfect for a short stay. Wouldn't hestitate to recommend and if ever in Wolverhampton again would definitely stay there. Not many hotel rooms have all these facilities , real value for money.
This is a really nice place to stay. It had everything, was clean, comfy bed, small functional kitchenette with a larger kitchen available if needed. Parking off street. It had it all. I've stayed in lots of places and hotels, upmarket and budget. Glaisdale offers something different, at a great price, with a kitchenette which is a real bonus. You really cannot go wrong.
Excellent manager on duty ( Claudia, I think was her name ). She was so helpful with my enquiries about some local services. Made everything comfortable for me at the hotel, explained security arrangements re locking up etc. Organised my breakfast each morning so that I was never waiting around too long etc. The hotel was secure, very well run and comfortable.
The hotel was clean.
Close to city centre and shopping if you wished to do so.
We stayed for 2 nights as going to a gig at kk steel Mill.
Spa and gym area adequate, although the pool is on the small side. Overall a decent stay.
Would book this again if required. Can't comment on food available as didn't eat here.
Lovely hotel and staff. Breakfast was very good. Excellent value for money. If there are any downsides our room was on a very busy road and the hotel was further away from the city centre than we would have preferred but thats splitting hairs. We had a lovely stay.
- Very convenient location. Very close to Wolverhampton city centre and Wulfrun Halls
- Clean, airy room with lovely toiletries. Appreciated the bottled water and biscuits!
- Easy to access keys via keybox. Clear instructions on how to access keys
The hotel was in an ideal location for us, with parking for the car and the room was an excellent size and clean and tidy. The decoration in the room was good and the bathroom was very good and we were happy with the price we paid
Great to have the place so close to the train station and the centre of town. Everything I had to do to get into the building had been sent to me in full and the room was very cozy and pleasant. Overall a nice experience.
Really happy with the location as it's city centre and also offers free parking! I've stayed around Wolverhampton before and usually end up paying £5-£6 per day parking charges. Will definitely stay again
Have stayed at this property before & have always found the staff friendly and helpful. Location is a short walk to Wolverhampton city centre! West park is an even shorter walk away!
Good location with on site parking. Fantastic value for money, A slightly quirky individual hotel. A welcome change to the chain hotel groups. Staff really helpful
Location of hotel to city centre. Easy walking distance to shops and venues. Friendliness of the staff and a good breakfast. Room was quiet and very comfortable.
