Brilliant location - quiet, total removal from the woes of civilisation. The host was very welcoming with us. We were slightly underprepared, but she cooked us a soup in the evening and the breakfast on our last morning was delicious. Very friendly reception. The apartment has everything you might need - fridge, cooker, pots, pans, microwave. Bathroom equally well stocked. All very clean. Thankfully, there is no TV set :), but there is WiFi if you want it.

The Old Mill is a beautiful home that has been decorated with exceptional taste! The bedrooms are spacious and beautiful. The hosts are friendly and very helpful, answering questions about the area. We walked St Cuthbert’s Way and Peter answered many of our questions about the path and local birds, etc. Breakfast was a delight in the sunroom with views of their flower garden. Beautiful calming classical guitar played as we ate a delicious breakfast!

Wooler has a coop and budgens which were handy for shopping.
Wooler has a coop and budgens which were handy for shopping. However no takeaway food nearby and at least 10 miles from the coast. However if you don't mind that it is a great place to stay and only 10 miles from the Scottish Borders.

Wooler is nice little town, it has its own whiskey and gin distillery which is definitely worth a visit. There is a lovely Italian restaurant named Milan and a couple of pubs which also serve food. I believe there is also another restaurant which will be opened later this year too.
There are lots of lovely walks and other villages and towns close by, although you do need a car to get around.

Wooler is a quaint, small village/town with beautiful surroundings. I would recommend if you like walking, there were lots of walks from or near Wooler that look lovely, we went on one at Ingram up the valley there which was delightful.
Wooler is also well-situated for travelling to other places in Northumberland such as Lindisfarne, Bamburgh, Seahouses, and Alnwick, all around a 30-40 minute drive away.
We really enjoyed Milan Restaurant which had a wide selection of tasty food. We also enjoyed The Black Bull Inn for a couple of pints and games of pool in the evenings.

We visited to attend a Vinduro event in Lilburn.
We visited to attend a Vinduro event in Lilburn. We go to Wooler a lot. It's a lovely little town. Great gift shops and the charity shops had some brilliant finds in. The Angel pub is really good. Great atmosphere especially on bingo night. Cafes and takeaways good. Its a shame they shut so early though. The Milan restaurant is exceptionally good.

Wooler is a ideal as a base for travelling round.
Wooler is a ideal as a base for travelling round. We had days out at Craster walking to Newton and back, Seahouses walking to Bamburgh and back, gardens and National trust places. Just away for a few days but have visited area before. Plenty of places and Wooler ideal to come back after a day out to eat, drink or just chill. Ate at Milan restaurant.... excellent but book. Also pub nextdoor to where we stayed, Noble Lands. Can recommend. Excellent value for money.,
The photos don't do this place justice! It's very spacious for a 2 bed home and beautifully decorated and furnished. Everything you need for a few days away was provided and the house was immaculately clean. I travelled with my two young daughters and they loved using the hot tub. Perfect location for wandering into Wooler for shops and restaurants too. Great location to explore North Northumberland with beautiful coast and countryside on your doorstep. We'll definitely be booking to return.

Amazing location, just a 2 min walk to the shops in Wooler. The house is a lovely size, has a cosy front room, separate dining room and a VERY well equipped kitchen. The bedrooms are all great sizes and felt extremely warm and comfy. The house was pleasantly decorated and was very clean. We would definitely stay here again.
I had dinner in the restaurant on the first evening, very good pub food, exellent bar. Breakfast was delicious and lots of options to cater to tastes. Room was comfortable enough for a couple of nights stay and the staff were absolutely lovely and helpful. Wooler is a lovely town, and you will be staying right in the centre.
A superb B&B in a great location. Only 20 minutes walk along a country road into the town of Wooler where there are pubs restauraunts and take aways to suit all tastes. The Hemmel is a lovely quiet location run by Steve and Maddie who offered an exceptiional service including a fantastic breakfast.

It was a perfect place to stay for two nights. Everything was nice and comfy. Coffee and tea makings were provided. The view looking over the garden and down across the hill was beautiful. It was just a few minutes walk into the heart of Wooler.
The location was perfect as it was in the pretty village of Wooler.
The cottage was self catering and breakfast, lunch and evening meal were available at The Tankerville Arms next door. The food was delicious and the staff were very friendly.

A perfect apartment for 4 of us, great location next to Milan restaurant which was very good. Noble lands was definitely value for money and an ideal base for exploring Northumberland. Stephanie was very helpful.
Staff were lovely, helpful and friendly. Felt like staying with a family despite being a hotel. Good breakfast, lots of parking,
They were great with my dog, and happily accommodated (if not doted!) on her.
Lovely cottage. Spacious & homely. Yummy biscuits, tea & coffee provided on arrival. Instructions on how to use everything included around the house, and a wealth of information on the local area provided.
The house is lovely, great location and offers everything you need for a relaxing time in Wooler.
Shona and Douglas are great, and the welcome package full of local products was just a perfect start….
Lovely spacious room with a sitting area. This was our third stay in room 1. Very clean and comfortable. Ideal location. Well stocked hospitality tray and there was also a small fridge.
Breakfast, room was interesting but a little small, good modern shower. Dinner was good on the one time we ate here. The hotel building is very old and full of character
