It was a very unusual experience. I've never been in a place like that before. It's a 17th-century manor that has been transformed into a boarding place, and it is a stunning property. It felt like going back in time. The garden was splendid, and we got to sleep in total silence and darkness, which we appreciated. No cars, no traffic, just the sound of birds when we woke up. We stayed in a duplex, and the room upstairs was furnished in Jules Vernes style, which was an absolute delight to my teenage children. We also had books in the room. Downstairs in the family room turned dining room, there were antique board games. I'm sorry that it was too cold to use the pool. Maybe next time.

We were happy that finally have selected this hotel, located outside of the old city. There were a lot of free parking slots just in front of the hotel, the view is amazing, rooms are much bigger then a standard in France. You need just 20 min to reach the old city, and there is a very pleasant journey along the sea via the beautiful promenade. The hotel is old, with a nice atmosphere. Hitting works well. Staff speak perfect English. Breakfast is served as a buffet, based on local products. We were very pleased to get a bottle of cider during checkout. No doubts- it is very nice place to stay!

Great breakfast at a big table with Guy and his son, as well as other guests in the B&B. Very interesting conversations came up while eating croissants, freshly squeezed orange juice and trying the local speciality: Caramel au beurre salé. The room / bathroom and the whole house are just beautiful. An old stone house building in the countryside with hydrangeas. Very calm, but still a lot of places nearby to visit. Guy and his son gave us all the needed recommendations for the area. Dinan, Dinard, Saint-Malo and even Mont Saint-Michel are all easily reachable by car. And you can get plenty of recommendations for other, less known/popular attractions.
