Great location and view from the room (Lake room), cozy interior and brilliant set up with tea and coffee in the room (I mean almond milk in sticks - very thoughtful!). Overall great experience- probably our best stay in the Lakes so far.

Everything you could possibly need was provided from robes to cutlery to firewood. The value for money was amazing and it felt like such a personal and luxurious stay! Will definitely be recommending and returning!

We booked this weekend away for my mum and my husband for a surprise 60th + 70t birthday treat. They both absolutely loved the stay and, the staff were exceptional. They definitely would stay again. Receptionist staff were very helpful and were very attentive, and very polite.

The Holbeck Ghyll Country House Hotel and staff exceeded all our expectations from the moment we arrived. I had booked this hotel for my parents to celebrate a special occasion. They are still raving about the hotel, the incredible view, the beautiful room, the fantastic service, the very attentive staff. They will be telling all their friends back in America about their experience there and cannot wait to return and stay longer. I would like to give a special thanks to the Holbeck Ghyll staff for making this the most amazing hotel stay my parents have had anywhere. They absolutely loved it!
