Situated in a scenic wooded garden, Thistle House Guest House overlooks Loch Fyne to Inveraray and its famous castle. Fabulous house, comfortable room, and a top notch reading room where we had a whisky and read books while listening to Beethoven’s string quartets on a bluetooth-speaker both evenings we were there.

Within 15 minutes’ drive of 4 of the Isle of Islay’s whisky distilleries, Skerrols House has uninterrupted countryside views and is just a 5-minute drive from the coastal village of Bridgend. The location is very quiet, in the middle of a beautiful landscape. Great for a nice morning walk. Still, within a short drive you can find restaurants, distilleries etc. Thomas is a very friendly and welcoming host. Rooms are great, spacious, newly renovated. Breakfast ist awesome! Try the scrambled eggs any version. Very nice garden to sit with a beer or for kids to play. Will come again any time we’ll have the chance. My whole family was very happy here.

Dungallan Country House is a adults only bed and breakfast guest house. We just liked all. Excellent rooms, nice building, great breakfast, a hugh selection of single malts, breathtaking view with sunset, what else you are looking for?

Gleann Fia House is a recently renovated country house in Arrochar, where guests can make the most of its garden and bar. The house is so spacious, beds comfy, fantastic kitchen and brilliant games room, we are a family of six and the space was ideal. Communication great, well looked after and should be respected. Loved it.

Located in Rothesay in the Isle of Bute region, The Guest Wing features a garden. This beachfront property offers access to a patio, free private parking and free WiFi. Everything. The location was perfect, right across from the water, and within walking distance to Rothesay. The house itself is roomy and has everything you could want. The grounds are spacious and Carolynn and John encourage you to play on the front lawn with the various garden games they provide in the shed next to the house. They are very kind and provide little touches such as milk and biscuits, shampoo and conditioner and even disposable barbecues.

Featuring a large garden overlooking Loch Long and the Arrochar Alps, Mansefield House is a holiday home situated in Arrochar. Guests can enjoy the patio area and barbecue. the house is amazing, very cozy, you got everything you need! Fiona is very nice!

Strathlachlan Lodge, Luxury Country House with Hot tub & Sauna is a charming destination in a tiny Scottish hamlet, surrounded by mountains and forests. The Lodge has everything, superbly equipped. Every time you thought, it would be good if......we looked and it was there. There are even bikes to be used which our kids enjoyed. The Lodge was exceptionally clean when we arrived. The location is so peaceful and quiet. We stayed as a family of 4 with teens and made full use of the hot tub, sauna and relaxation room. This really added a luxurious feel to the trip and a delightful addition to the Lodge. We used the Lodge as a base to have days trips around Argyll. Picking up fresh seafood and cooking at the Lodge in the large well equiped kitchen was a great way to spend an evening. The Lodge is also walkable to the Inver restaurant which is a gem and absolutely worth going to if staying. The Lodge owner was fab, gave clear instructions and easily contactable if required.

Featuring a garden, shared lounge and views of sea, CREAG DHUBH COUNTRY HOUSE is set in Inveraray, 1.6 km from Inveraray Castle. it was beautiful, superbly maintained and excellent location. this was by far the best accommodation of our whole 3 week trip through Scotland!
