With beautiful views of the Northern Fells, Ravenstone Lodge is 5 miles from Keswick, at the foot of Ullock Pike so you can relax in the conservatory or on the terrace and enjoy some of the best Lake... Breakfast was very nice! The restaurant is a MUST. Chef James cooks wonderful meals. Sorry we went to another place our second night! The staff and owner Mike couldn’t do enough to ensure our stay was exceptional. We had room #6, which was apparently a “luxury” room…it was beautiful and much larger than we expected. Bed was VERY comfortable.

Very nice place,very clean,everything u need are there,specialy the bathrooms are amazing with bery strong warm water ,very clean,the garden is very big and have little water lake to thriw stine,suitable for kids.We are very pleased.Highly recommened🥰

Barton Hall has loads of character. Breakfast was excellent. Nice little discovery, will definitely be back!

Featuring river views, Lanercost Country B&B provides accommodation with a garden and a patio, around 14 km from Thirlwall Castle. We where walking the Hadrians wall path and were very lucky in staying at the Lanercost Country B&B. Beautifully situated close to a local priory which was a welcoming surprise, definately worth a visit. The hostes will make sure your stay will exeed your expectations, provides excellent tips for local routes and all. Our room was very spacious, spotless and beautifully decorated, overall the best facilities we've encountered during our trip. Dinner was prepared, which we ordered in advance. Breakfast was excellent as well, would definately return once we're in the area.

High Grassings lies in the heart of the Lake District with views of the surrounding fells. We booked this weekend away for my mum and my husband for a surprise 60th + 70t birthday treat. They both absolutely loved the stay and, the staff were exceptional. They definitely would stay again. Receptionist staff were very helpful and were very attentive, and very polite.

Set in an acre of gardens, in the picturesque village of Grasmere, Lake View Country House is located in the heart of the Lake District, in a recently-renovated period property with original features.... location is perfect, Nice drive to the hotel and great walking and hiking areas near the accommodation. Both the rooms were comfy. Would definitely stay again.

Owners very friendly and helpful. Rooms good size and very comfortable. Great location with short walk into town. Grounds spacious and well kept. Maps, torches etc available if required.

With a beautiful riverside location, Rydal Lodge Hotel offers elegant Lake District accommodation, 2 miles from the centre of Ambleside. The place felt very homely, beautiful and located close to Mount Rydal. Breakfast service is amazing. Mark and Helena are excellent hosts. Highly recommended!

Ees Wyke Country House is an elegant Georgian property in the Lake District, less than 3 miles from the town of Hawkshead. We were immediately welcomed and given a tour of the beautiful building, including the garden and the two lounges. Everywhere was kept toasty thanks to the fire places, and there were lots of books and board games available to pass the time. Our room was spacious, clean and kept supplied with lush hot chocolate, tea, etc. We had a fantastic view of the lake too. The staff were absolutely wonderful and couldn't be more helpful. Had a lovely chat with Ed one day, then Angela the next! The food was fantastic, I would highly recommend grabbing at least one dinner there, and definitely go down for breakfast every day. Wonderful selection, and exceedingly tasty. Incredibly cooked by the owner and solo chef, Richard!

Amidst the scenery of the Lake District, this family-run bed and breakfast provides rooms with free Wi-Fi and views of the fells. I love this place. I booked it last minute as I got a late start to my drive up north and didn’t get as far as I was hoping, but my stay here was a pleasant surprise and I’m so glad I got to stop here. Incredibly clean, comfortable, with clear thought put into providing anything a guest might want. Breakfast was delicious, and the view out the window while eating provided a great start to the morning. I would gladly go out of my way to stay here again.
