With beautiful views of the Northern Fells, Ravenstone Lodge is 5 miles from Keswick, at the foot of Ullock Pike so you can relax in the conservatory or on the terrace and enjoy some of the best Lake District scenery. The view of the hotel is absolutely stunning! Sadly we are only staying for one night. We have a nice view from our room, and even a surprising sunset view from the toilet! We had dinner before heading to the hotel, but I instantly regretted it because the menu looks attractive and you could sit outside and look at the great view. The breakfast was very nice as well.

This property offers access to a balcony, tennis at the tennis court, free private parking and free WiFi. On clear days, guests can head outside to enjoy the country house's outdoor fireplace or simply kick back and relax. Hi, The communication from the hosts through out this weekend and the build up was great. The location is fantastic for days out in the surrounding areas. The cottage it self was bang on. We would definitely book again.

Offering garden views, Barton Hall Country House is an accommodation located in Pooley Bridge, 30 km from Derwentwater and 37 km from World of Beatrix Potter. The property features mountain and lake views, and is 5 km from Askham Hall. There is a sun terrace and guests can make use of free WiFi and free private parking. Lovely accommodation and staff. Barton Hall has loads of character. Breakfast was excellent. Nice little discovery, will definitely be back!

High Grassings Country House is a 16-minute drive from Grizedale Forest and the cosy hamlet of Hawkshead is less than 2 miles away. The historical town of Ambleside is 13 minutes' drive away and Windermere is just 8 miles away. Our stay at High Grassings, Lake District Bed and Breakfast was nothing short of magical. Nestled in the heart of breathtaking scenery, this charming B&B offered the perfect blend of comfort and elegance. The hosts were incredibly warm and welcoming, providing personalized service that made us feel right at home. Each morning, we were greeted with a sumptuous breakfast that catered to all tastes, featuring fresh, locally-sourced ingredients. The room was beautifully appointed, with attention to detail that ensured a luxurious and restful experience. The bed was like sleeping on a cloud, and the views from our window were picturesque, offering a serene backdrop to our stay. The location was ideal for exploring the natural beauty of the Lake District, with easy access to roads, trails and lakes. Tarn Hows was close by and simply quintessentially English countryside at its best! What truly set this B&B apart was the genuine care and hospitality of the hosts. Set in an acre of gardens, in the picturesque village of Grasmere, Lake View Country House is located in the heart of the Lake District, in a recently-renovated period property with original features. There is private access to Grasmere lake-shore. Free parking is available on site. Great location and view from the room (Lake room), cozy interior and brilliant set up with tea and coffee in the room (I mean almond milk in sticks - very thoughtful!). Overall great experience- probably our best stay in the Lakes so far.

Foxghyll Country House is by the banks of the River Rothay. Guests can explore the tranquil Lake District, which is ideal for hiking and scenic cycle rides. It is also ideal for fishing. Warm hospitality by the owners, Paul and Rachel. Thoughtful sumptuous breakfast. Spacious room with a great river and pasture view. Comfortable bed. Lots of trees and flowering plants in its 5-acre property. Our 3-night stay was very heavenly and relaxing. Pleasureable walking experience from village to village. Highly recommended for a 3~ 5 day Lake District experience.

With a beautiful riverside location, Rydal Lodge Hotel offers elegant Lake District accommodation, 2 miles from the centre of Ambleside. With Lake Windermere just 6 minutes’ drive away, this Cumbrian hotel offers a full breakfast menu and free parking and Wi-Fi. We had a lovely stay at Rydal lodge. It was the perfect little getaway! Mark and Helena went out of their way to make our stay comfortable, giving us advice on where to eat and walk. Our room was comfortable and cosy. The gardens and surrounding area was beautiful, with easy access to Rydal lake. Couldn't recommend enough!

Ees Wyke Country House is an elegant Georgian property in the Lake District, less than 3 miles from the town of Hawkshead. Set on high-ground the house overlooks Esthwaite Water and offers free parking. We had a great time staying here. The owner was so warm welcome and pay attention to every single details that their guests can be notice. All the set up and decoration is very precise and professional. We would definitely come back here again with our family and we’re willing to recommend this place to anyone to stay here. And Thank you for giving us the best experience while we’re in UK.

Netherdene Country House Bed & Breakfast’s rooms all have a flat-screen TV as well as a private bathroom with a hairdryer. Free tea, coffee and ironing facilities are provided, and all rooms look across the countryside. The property was clean, nicely maintained and decorated. Felt like home as soon as we stepped in. The dining room is brilliant with the view. The host is very friendly and welcoming.

An award-winning, luxury bed and breakfast, Lindeth Fell Country House is set in an elegant Edwardian house with high ceilings and period features. It offers spacious, individually decorated rooms with Egyptian cotton sheets, an airy en suite bathroom, flat-screen TV and tea and coffee facilities. Many offer lake views. The staff and owners all consistently went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable, as well as to help with directions and/or recommendations for walks and restaurants in the Lake District. The breakfast was delicious and healthy, with a variety of choices, and we received very pleasant service from all involved. The hotel building was quaint and beautifully appointed and the large garden was absolutely lovely. A bonus was meeting Alfie and Rosie, the adorable and affectionate resident Border Terriers!
