Charlton Hall is now only run as a wedding venue. The Tempus is a beautiful hotel with state of the art technology for controlling room lights, temperature in the room, etc. The decor is colourful and flamboyant with a fun vibe and tastefully done. The dining room is cheerful and the bar cozy. The food was excellent. There was also plenty of parking, a necessity as it is out in the country. I would highly recommend a stay at The Tempus.

The property is located 39 km from Theatre Royal, 40 km from Utilita Arena and 40 km from St James' Park. This 4-star country house offers private entrance. This was an old coach house, no food available but tea and coffee in the room......lots! The coach house is set in a beautiful secluded location with fantastic views, I cannot speak too highly of this venue. I like to think that we will head back that way again if we do this will be the first place that I will try to book.

With garden views, this accommodation features a patio. The property is non-smoking and is situated 18 km from Lindisfarne Castle. The cottage is so homely, it had everything we possibly needed and the space it provided was fantastic. Very close to Bamburgh and Alnwick. Catered very well towards children by providing a cot bed, little seats, toys and a high chair. We initially booked for 4 nights and ended up staying 2 more nights as we loved it so much.

Alnwick, where Harry Potter was partly filmed, is 20 miles away. Just value wonderful old property in a beautiful location. I loved all the quirky hallways and different levels and the basecof the old pele tower. The room was huge, comfortable and clean. Great breakfast. The staff were very helpful.
