We would like to introduce you to The Tempus at Charlton Hall Estate, a decadent place where colours collide, and imaginations are captured. We stayed at a brand new hotel called The Tempus on the Charlton Hall Estate. Charlton Hall is now only run as a wedding venue. The Tempus is a beautiful hotel with state of the art technology for controlling room lights, temperature in the room, etc. The decor is colourful and flamboyant with a fun vibe and tastefully done. The dining room is cheerful and the bar cozy. The food was excellent. There was also plenty of parking, a necessity as it is out in the country. I would highly recommend a stay at The Tempus.

Set in Hexham and only 38 km from MetroCentre, Stay On The Hill - The Coach House offers accommodation with garden views, free WiFi and free private parking. This was an old coach house, no food available but tea and coffee in the room......lots! The coach house is set in a beautiful secluded location with fantastic views, I cannot speak too highly of this venue. I like to think that we will head back that way again if we do this will be the first place that I will try to book.

Located in Ancroft, 10 km from Berwick-Upon-Tweed, The Old Parsonage provides a garden and free WiFi. the units feature a flat-screen TV and a private bathroom with a hair dryer. Lynn went above and beyond in every way! She gave us wonderful suggestions of places to visit and even treated me to some wonderful whiskey!

Just half an hour’s drive from the centre of the Kielder Forest Park is Yellow House Bed and Breakfast. Really nice quite place, comfortable and clean. Great breakfast with lots of options. Friendly host as well.

Located in Smeafield and only 12 km from Bamburgh Castle, Lake Cottage, Middleton Hall Estate provides accommodation with lake views, free WiFi and free private parking. The cottage is so homely, it had everything we possibly needed and the space it provided was fantastic. Very close to Bamburgh and Alnwick. Catered very well towards children by providing a cot bed, little seats, toys and a high chair. We initially booked for 4 nights and ended up staying 2 more nights as we loved it so much.

With a stunning location on the edge of Northumberland National Park, this country house hotel has picturesque views, free Wi-Fi, and free parking on site. Just value wonderful old property in a beautiful location. I loved all the quirky hallways and different levels and the basecof the old pele tower. The room was huge, comfortable and clean. Great breakfast. The staff were very helpful.
