In an elegant country house, Stanshope Hall features cosy log fires, home-cooked food and pretty gardens. The historic house is in the heart of the Peak District, a 20-minute drive from Ashbourne. Excellent place. The owner lady Naomi was so kind and welcoming. All of the ladies were incredibly nice and very kind to my nephews. The place is very close to very good walking paths.

Dating from the 1580’s, Hawthorn Farm Guest House is set in a Grade II listed house, 10 minutes’ walk from the centre of Buxton. It offers country-house style rooms and home-cooked food. Lovely couple who run it. Room was clean and a comfortable king size bed for us to catch up on much needed sleep. Breakfast was amazing full English and cooked to perfection. Would highly recommend staying here

Biggin Hall Hotel is a 3 star AA rated historic Grade II listed house of 17th Century origin with an AA awarded 1 rosette restaurant. It is set within 8 acres of grounds. We travelled to Derbyshire to visit chatworth house and booked at the hotel very last minute. We was very impressed with how we were welcomed on our arrival by very helpful and friendly staff. Our room was spacious and we were provided with a free bottle of beer and Prosecco which was a nice surprise. We also didn’t expect to receive a free packed lunch to take with us even though we only stayed for one night.

Cozy and beds were massive and i loved having a bath with shower overhead because of my disabilities standing in a shower can be hard but i loved that I didn’t have to worry about that at this property

The Chatsworth Estate Cottages offer self-catering holiday cottages, set across the Chatsworth Estate and throughout the Peak District National Park. Everything was perfect.Central to all Peak District plus beautiful cottage and location.If we needed any assistance the owners were very helpful

Set in the beautiful Dovedale Valley, The Izaak Walton is a 17th-century hotel with spectacular views across the Derbyshire countryside, known for its fishing streams, a log fireplace in the front... Superb location. Large breakfast selection. Well organised in the dining room. Smart, polite staff wearing masks to protect visitors. Plenty of areas to sit to either enjoy a drink and sit and read/play cards.

The warm and friendly hospitality that you're greeted with sets the tone for the duration of your stay. Our chefs use the very finest ingredients to create superb cuisine that will suit any palate. Staff were very accommodating and ensured i was able to access dinner despite late arrival. My booking dates changed due to change in travel arrangements but staff ensured i was provided with a great room throughout my stay. I have stayed at bagden hall several times over recent years and always look forward to returning due to the friendliness of staff and lovely relaxing environment.

Shrigley Hall Hotel, just 15 miles south of Manchester city centre, is an impressive manor house in leafy Cheshire countryside. The historic hotel was situated in a picturesque setting, overlooking the mountains. The rooms were comfortable and adequately furnished. There was a nice bar area that included a large outdoor space with tables, as well as a restaurant onsite. While we didn't choose to use the spa and swimming pool, many others took advantage of that feature.
