In an elegant country house, Stanshope Hall features cosy log fires, home-cooked food and pretty gardens. The historic house is in the heart of the Peak District, a 20-minute drive from Ashbourne. Excellent place. The owner lady Naomi was so kind and welcoming. All of the ladies were incredibly nice and very kind to my nephews. The place is very close to very good walking paths.

Biggin Hall Hotel is a 3 star AA rated historic Grade II listed house of 17th Century origin with an AA awarded 1 rosette restaurant. It is set within 8 acres of grounds. We travelled to Derbyshire to visit chatworth house and booked at the hotel very last minute. We was very impressed with how we were welcomed on our arrival by very helpful and friendly staff. Our room was spacious and we were provided with a free bottle of beer and Prosecco which was a nice surprise. We also didn’t expect to receive a free packed lunch to take with us even though we only stayed for one night.

Located in Barton under Needwood and only 25 km from Drayton Manor Theme Park, 2 x King & 1 Single bedroom - Sleeps 5 - Kitchen - by Canal provides accommodation with garden views, free WiFi and free... The location was perfect also with a canal next to the garden which you have easy access to if you wish to have a walk. Inside the facilities were great lovely bathroom nice rooms with very comfortable beds . Good Internet connection which is rare . Upstairs we gad 2 x double rooms with big beds and own bathroom with a shower and a bath . Spacious comfortable and quiet. Will stay again and recommend to all . Thankyou for a lovely stay.

Cotesheath house, a property with a shared lounge, is set in Etruria, 24 km from Alton Towers, 36 km from Buxton Opera House, as well as 37 km from Capesthorne Hall. Nothing i couldn’t stay there it was absolutely filthy.
