Brilliant location with parking. Comfy bed. Despite being in pub car park, we weren't disturbed by external noise at night.

After a bit of meandering (on foot) to find the place, I was pleasantly surprised. It is an old building (Tudor?) but the room was spacious, the bed comfortable, the cotton linens soft, there were even robe and slippers in the room. The breakfast was good, the lady who greeted me and served breakfast was friendly and welcoming. Overall it was a great one night stay.

Bury St Edmunds is a beautiful Town with plenty of lovely places to visit. It has a very unspoilt, almost old fashioned feel to it. There are plenty of great Independent shops and also larger more recognisable high street chains. The Abbey Gardens are beautiful especially in the Summer time.
You are spoilt for choice with the selection of cafes, restaurants and pubs to eat in. The Apex is a fantastic venue to watch a show in or just wander in and have a coffee.

Bury St Edmunds is a wonderfully historic English town with a slower pace than Cambridge. It’s definitely a really nice change from busy London. I would stay in Bury St Edmunds over Cambridge. Just take the train to Cambridge for a day and then come back to the calm of Bury St. Edmunds to enjoy your precious time minus the tourists.

Bury St Edmund’s is a very English town full of heritage. The Abbey Gardens and ruins are beautiful and well maintained. The town is full of small gourmet restaurants and quaint cafes. Giggling Squid restaurant is amazing! There are plenty of shops for buying gifts and a regular market on Wednesdays. You do not need a car to get around this town.

Bury St Edmunds is a lovely place to visit and the Abbey Gardens are lovely to walk round. We were seeing relatives, The Bushal was in an ideal place near the town. We went by train so no car and The Bushal was good for that. A good place to visit, and historical.

This is a pub very close to the town centre - we were there for a concert at the Apex, and it's just a short walk up the road. The room was almost a suite with a large bed, a shower room and a small area with tea/coffee facilities, seating and wardrobe. The breakfast was very good with a wide range of cooked options, cereals, toast, etc. Live music on Saturday night was a bonus.
From arrival in Reception, the staff were exceptionally good. the hotel decor and facilities are a very high standard, and it has a great relaxing atmosphere .
The rooms are a good size, very comfortable and large well fitted en-suite.
The restaurant caters to a high standard, both breakfast and dinner.
The location is ideal with a five minute walk to the town centre.
Its beautiful inside . The decor is stunning and the small courtyard out the back would be lovely in summer. Also having a car space out the back to leave the car without having to to search for parking is really helpful. It takes 30 seconds to walk into the town centre which has lots of coffee shops and restaurants.
The location was excellent. Parking can be difficult in town centre. It's right on the street so quite noisy with windows open. The noise was fine to deal with given the perfect location and having an amazing view of the cathedral from the living room and bedroom. Apartment was clean and comfortable.
The bedroom and breakfast were both very good. There is ample car parking. It is very well located, being very close to the A14. There is a lovely walk from the hotel into the town centre (15-20 minutes' walk), so you do not need to drive into the town centre.
The ambiance is great for a town centre pub offering accommodation bearing in mind the expected issues such as the lack of a private car park and the difficulties arising out of the joint use i.e. as a pub, a restaurant and a small hotel.
It was amazing, very clean and cozy!!!! love how it was walking distance to shopping and restaurants!!!! And a plus it has its very on restaurant!!! Will be coming back soon!!!
