Friendly courteous staff made you feel very welcome. Nothing too much trouble such as early check-in after 6 hours drive.
Love roast lunch and terrific breakfast spread. Good drinks selection, too.
All round good value and a short stroll to the beach and 20 mins to Hunny. Great!

Lovely decor and very clean as recently refurbished. Staff were very nice and attentive on the whole.
Although slow bar service which maybe due to new starters and the layout of bar? unlined glassware didn’t help.

The location was great, right in the middle of hunstanton , the rooms were private and very clean, the shower room and shower was excellent. The food in the pub was great value and very tasty, great portions size. The staff were really friendly. Great for dogs, totally made welcome, no fuss. We had a great time here.

Very nice house on a quiet street near the town square. Room booked was very spacious. It was not the lowest price room available. Very nice breakfast included that was served by the host and his wife. You could not ask for a nicer breakfast or service.

Hunstanton is a nice place.
Hunstanton is a nice place. The Holiday Park is a short walk to the town & very close to the amusement park & Sealife Centre. A large Tesco is nearby. We enjoyed walking it is easy to walk to Old Hunstanton & Heacham. I recommend the Golden Lion Hotel for nice food and excellent service.CCarolynUnited Kingdom - 8.0Scored 8.0

Good beach especially at Old Hunstanton by the lighthouse. Small town and hilly if walking is a problem . Disappointed with the number of Cafe/restaurants closed. Favourite place was the craft centre in Old Hunstanton. Useful bus service along the coast or to Hunstanton. Four/five days at Hunstanton when the weather wasn't too good is probably long enough

Great seaside town with a mixture of amenities for all. There are some tourist aspects to it but all in all it seems to have retained an authentic seaside charm. Hunstanton is a lovely seaside location.
Hunstanton is a lovely seaside location. A great blend of everything you would want to keep young children amused and active. Great bars and restaurants and some lovely quirky shops. Lovely to walk along the front, or go to Old Hunstanton for better sand. Never far away from country walks and the wildlife reserves, a bird watchers paradise.

The room had plenty of room, and I really liked the fact the toilet & sink was separate from the shower & sink. Was seriously tempted to try the bath in the room (was literally a leg from the bed!) but didn't get chance. Staff gave a lovely warm welcome and pointed us towards a dog friendly pub for some decent pub-grub. (The Old Marine Bar / The Waterfront Bar are great for this, the Golden Lion Hotel is good for something a little more refined)

Location was very close to the promenade and we enjoyed long walks along the seawall. The bathroom was large and had a bath and a shower with lots of hot water. We went to this hotel especially because it was dog friendly and were allowed to have our lovely dog with us in our bedroom. Free parking right outside the hotel was a bonus. The rooms were clean and tidy and although it is a dog friendly pub/hotel there was no smell of dog! The food was great and the breakfast menu had a good selection. The continental breakfast is in with the room price but cooked breakfast needs to be ordered and paid for the night before. We really enjoyed our stay and will be back for a return visit.
