The location is amazing as it is so close to the lake and it is easy to travel to other attractions. The on-site parking is a plus especially in a busy tourist location with limited public parking. The owners are so friendly and welcoming and the rooms are comfortable and clean.

From the moment we arrived for our two night stay, our welcome was exceptional, the owners are absolutely phenominal, nothing was too much to ask they went above and beyond our expectations in their service to their guests.   A Stellar B&B. Wow. Oakfold House is a premier choice for staying in The Lake District. The hosts are very kind and generous, while constantly working to maintain their very high standard. There is nothing to fault here, we had a thoroughly enjoyable time during our 4 day stay at Oakfold House. The rooms are very nice and well kept, and for the breakfast the hosts absolutely crushed it, every time. Every single meal we had at Oakfold was incredible. Everything was consistently perfect (literally). Highly highly recommend Oakfold House, and many thanks for making us so welcomed during our wonderful stay with you.
