The staff went above expectations to insure we had a great stay. Restaurant was exceptional. Neighborhood Lounge and bar was on premise. Bus stop at hotel entrance. Loved the thick walls and breakfast room decor. But the staff is what makes this an excellent place to stay. Location is about twelve miles out of Edinburgh and is in walking distance to Roslyn Chapel.

Amazing building. Wonderful and kind hostess with beautiful, spacious rooms, and a great bathroom. Seriously. The shower was brilliant. The couch, beds, and TV were lovely. Such bright and sunny windows. The place made it hard to leave and go explore the city.

If you are thinking of spending a couple of days in Edinburgh I recommend taking this guest house into consideration, even though it is not in the heart of the town by bus you can get to the city center in 30 minutes (there are night buses as well) and at least you can enjoy a nice and comfy room
