The staff went above expectations to insure we had a great stay. Restaurant was exceptional. Neighborhood Lounge and bar was on premise. Bus stop at hotel entrance. Loved the thick walls and breakfast room decor. But the staff is what makes this an excellent place to stay. Location is about twelve miles out of Edinburgh and is in walking distance to Roslyn Chapel.

We were visiting Roslyn Chapel. Chapel Cross Guesthouse was about 500 m from the place.. Lovely rooms, warm , hot water, comfortable beds in both rooms. Lovely view from windows . Fantastic tea room on ground floor, where we had our breakfast. I am sure we will come back here.

Amazing building. Wonderful and kind hostess with beautiful, spacious rooms, and a great bathroom. Seriously. The shower was brilliant. The couch, beds, and TV were lovely. Such bright and sunny windows. The place made it hard to leave and go explore the city.

The room is beautiful, clean, the bed is very comfortable. The hosts are really kind and will try to help you with anything you need. Breakfast was delicious home made. The house is really pretty, easy to locate and with a bus station right next to it that will take you to old town.
