The Hotel was a little hard to find as there were a lot of roadworks close to Darlington on A66 and the sat-nav kept bringing me back to a road that had been closed off. We eventually took an alternate route to end up at the Hotel. This had nothing to do with the hotel but anyone else travelling to this destination should be aware. Check-in was very quick and we were shown to our very spacious room with nice views from the window. The room was very clean and comfortable and we had a very peaceful sleep. We ate dinner at the hotel and the food was delicious. Breakfast was wonderful and Julie made sure everything was to our liking and made us aware of the many local areas to visit. Not having enough time on this trip we will definitely visit the area again using the Davenport as our base. Thanks Julie and all the staff.

Had a great stay! Friendly people, spotlessly clean rooms, and delicious cooked breakfasts. Kingswood is also in an excellent location just 1-2 mins away from the bus stop and 4-5 mins walk from Norton High Street with shops, cafes, and restaurants. Staff took good care of me and gave great recommendations. Would love to go back.
