The Glen Guest House 1-bedroom guest house with free parking ligger i Fyfield, 22 km från Stansted Mountfitchet station, 23 km från Hylands Park och 29 km från Woodford. Stayed for 2 nights 21 to 23 September What's there not to like? My stay was exceptional. The place itself has a cottage like vibe. It has everything you need and the decor, features etc is very high spec. Fully equipped kitchen, fridge, microwave etc. A TV with "proper" channels including netflix, very comfortable indeed. Lesley is on hand to answer and help with any questions or queries about the area and things to do. Plus they also offer a very reasonable, very flexible taxi service. Tiptop!!! The cottage is warm and cosy. It is set back in an area surrounded by beautiful green land and in a garden with lovely garden furniture and ample seating areas. It really has the best backdrop. There is also a fully equipped gym which I had the opportunity to use, very considerate to open it up for guests. The hosts have thought about everything you may need for a comfortable getaway. They were brilliant hosts, Lesley and Pat, their welcome was more like going to stay with friends for the weekend! The nicest people you would ever want to meet, hands on, making sure you're comfortable, super pleasant, engaging and just really really nice folks. I highly recommend the Glen Adorable... the name says it all!

The Lodge ligger i Little Clacton, inom 50 km från Freeport Braintree och 15 km från Alresford, och erbjuder boende med en trädgård och gratis WiFi i alla utrymmen samt gratis privat parkering för... Beautiful location. Very easy to find. The Lodge is a perfect little hideaway. The owners are friendly and welcoming. I loved the firm bed, smart TV, fast broadband, Fridge and Chocolate! I'd definitely stay again, it's very good value.

Edelweiss Guest House ligger i Southend-on-Sea, 3 minuters promenad från Thorpe Bay Beach, och erbjuder gratis WiFi och snabb in- och utcheckning. Great location a few steps away from the beach. Bus stop into town just around the corner. Close to several places to eat and drink. Lovely clean room - spotless - and tea coffee and milk left in the room too along with the necessary bathroom bits. The host Zara was very helpful and had left nothing to chance. Would happily stay here again - recommended.

We loved everything about our stay. Big thank you to our hosts for making our last night in the UK super cozy, comfortable and tasty. :-) In the morning it was just 20 mins drive to Stansted airport, no traffic. All was great.

Set in Takeley and with Hatfield Forest reachable within 5 km, Old Thatch Bambers Green offers express check-in and check-out, allergy-free rooms, free bikes, free WiFi and a garden. The house was wonderful, the owner was sooo nice and helped us with everything we needed to know, we had a wonderful walks in the woods nearby

Victoria Villa Guesthouse ligger i Clacton-on-Sea, 3 minuters promenad från Clacton Beach, och har en trädgård, rökfria rum samt gratis WiFi. Amazing cooked to order breakfast. I was in a small single room with shared bathroom which is perfect if you are on a budget. 10 minute walk to the train station and 1 minute to the beach, shops, busses, pier, arcades etc. There are also large rooms for families and couples.

CARIS Guest House ligger i Southend-on-Sea. Här bor du 2 minuters promenad från havet och 400 meter från Adventure Island, Marine Parade och Southend Pier, som är världens längsta nöjespir. Brilliant stay, Carol was so wonderful and accommodated all my needs quickly

Alma Inn & Dining Rooms erbjuder gratis WiFi, en restaurang och boende med husdjursvänlig profil intill The Pier i Harwich, 400 meter från centrum. Här finns även en bar. Alla rum har en platt-TV. I don't generally write a lot of reviews, but for the Alma I am going to make an exception. From the moment we stepped through the door to the moment we left the service was just fabulous - very friendly staff, the food was excellent, and the pricing was just right.
