Kira and Tom are excellent hosts and have created a lovely guesthouse. This is an excellent place from which to explore the distilleries and everything this area has to offer. I would recommend it to anyone.

Set in Braemar and only 20 km from Balmoral Castle, Cranford Guest House offers accommodation with mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking. I loved the location and the view. Sarah gave us a very warm welcome and a flask of fresh milk for our tea and coffee, she also had freshly baked chocolate brownies for us in our room. No evening meal so we went out to the Braemar lodge hotel and ate like kings. Had a great nights sleep and a fantastic breakfast with a view of the hills. This is a place we would come back to.

Located just 21 km from Elgin Cathedral, Craigellachie Lodge provides accommodation in Craigellachie with access to a garden, a tennis court, as well as luggage storage space. Small hotel that provides excellence size of room, high ceiling, large bathroom (we booked family room), adequate furnitures in the room. They have a small kitchen, which makes pretty good dinner and breakfast. I am a frequently traveler, and not staying small hotel or Airbnb room, I booked this room based on the pictures showed on the web, and price. I didn’t expect the facility was really nice, like a good hotel (not a motel!) room. Highly recommend.

Great place with historic features throughout the 1850-house. Excellent and spacious room. Very nice breakfast. Plenty of options. Service couldnt be better. Quiet but central location.
