Set in Kyle of Lochalsh, Heatherbrae Cosy Wooden Pod has a garden. Free private parking is available. We got caught in rain and it was almost 11 when we checked in to the pod. We informed her late at 9 PM and she was still accommodating to us even though she had to cancel her plans. I loved the way Heather warmly welcomed us into the pod. Parking was easy, pod was cosy and she explained A to Z when she gave us the keys. I especially loved her pulpy orange juice. Everything about this place was excellent.

She even gave us a lift to the bus. It was raining when we left, so she offered to take us to the station. We wanted to book a tour and she called the office for us. There is almost a kitchen in the room (fridge, microwave, toaster, kettle) and Heather gave us some ingredients for breakfast, so we had breakfast every morning in the room. We absolutely recommend to stay at Heatherbrae's! We felt like home there. Thank you Heather for making our stay in Kyle super lovely!

Fresh produce from the garden cooked with creative perfection. Murdo was a wonderful host - very friendly and helpful with great tips on how to have the best time in Portree. Highly recommended!

The room is small but very efficiently organised. The table, dishes and cutlery appear out of nowhere - well designed foldable table. Breakfast items provided too. If we ever come back we would stay here again

Set 13 km from Portree, just 41 km from Talisker Distillery, Seal Cottage offers beachfront accommodation with a garden, a private beach area, a terrace and free WiFi. It was a beautiful spot near the beach. The owner left cereal, milk, and other amenities for breakfast. There was also nice little touches from the owner in the cottage that made it feel homey. The bed was comfortable. Would stay here again.
