Such a warm and welcome from Helen and Dave who couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. Brilliant breakfasts with a sea view, loads of helpful information about the surrounding area. The room was beautiful and everything was spotlessly clean. Very close to great places to eat and not even a stone's throw from the beach. We just loved it! Based in the heart of the popular seaside resort of Shanklin on the Isle of Wight, The St. Leonards Guest House offers free on-site parking, free Wi-Fi access and a bar. The perfect place to rest. Peaceful, clean, has everything you need. Great location 5 min walk from the centre and the sea. I escaped the business in London to relax a bit, and this place really helped me to do so. The owner is very kind and tried to meet all my needs. You also have included a nice breakfast with different options. I went for the English breakfast and was freshly prepared at the moment. The single room on the top had a lovely compfy bed, a nice and clean bathroom, and 2 windows which is not obvious for smaller rooms like a single. There is also outside space where you can relax, have a drink. I am really happy with the whole experience, will come back. Shanklin is a beautiful town, and you can easily go anywhere from there with buses if you don't have a car like me. One of the bus stops (the coaster) it is just in front of the guest house.
