Amazing location, a little bit unusual breakfast deal, you get the food in the evening and keep it in the fridge. But it was nice. I liked it, the muffin was very good and you can eat in bed.

Kingscroft is situated in Buxton, less than 1 km from Buxton Opera House, 25 km from Chatsworth House, and 29 km from Capesthorne Hall. Vegetarian breakfast, lots of choice and HUGE portions (top tip, ask for small!). Loved our 4 poster bed, room was immaculate with lots of extras. Very quiet location.

Food in the pub was fabulous we ate there both nights and there was a great and varied selection on the menu. Room was very comfortable and very clean and toiletries smelt amazing! Already looking to book again!

Coffee and biscuits were refilled each morning while we were gone hiking. Our room was spacious and clean. Location was excellent for hiking and walking into the pub at night.

Well run pub with nicely decorated rooms. Comfortable bed. Very friendly staff and manager. Proper pub food in a nice restaurant room and local busy bar next to it. Very good atmosphere overall.

Set in Leek and within 19 km of Alton Towers, The Fountain Inn features a bar, non-smoking rooms, and free WiFi throughout the property. Leek is a beautiful town, everything in walking distance. The bed had lots of pillows which made it extra comfy and luxurious. I felt really safe as a single woman traveling alone. Great atmosphere and friendly locals in the pub. Huge bonus was that the room had a mini fridge! So I could buy a few supplies and food at the market and keep it fresh. Absolutely loved my stay.

Stanton House Annex, a property with a garden, is situated in Bakewell, 18 km from Buxton Opera House, 34 km from FlyDSA Arena, as well as 42 km from Alton Towers. A lovely place for a family in beautiful Bakewell. Walking distance to a craft beer brewery. Very quiet to calm down after the excursions of the day. We loved it and can warmly recommend. L’habitació de bon tamany i llit còmode. El bany antic però net i correcte. El pub molt agradable amb bon menjar i bon servei. A mitja nit es va disparar l’alarma d’incendis donant-nos un gran ensurt. Va ser una falsa alarma i la van apagar però ningú ens va donar explicacions i ningú ens va demanar disculpes per l’ensurt terrible de que et desperti una alarma brutal. La ubicació és molt bona per excursions al peak District
