Combined seating, dining area and fullly equipped kitchen. Nice welcome pack (milk, wine, biscuits, bread, jams, tea, coffee, etc.). Second floor bedroom and bijou bathroom and toilet. Small garden and seating area in front of the cottage. Positioned in a farming environment with beautiful views over the dales. Green fields and meadows boarded with ancient dry stone walling. Waking distance to the local village 10 min. walk. Recommend the pub. Nice place to use as a base to explore the surrounding areas. We would happily return!

The Tenth House, Grade II, er staðsett í Wirksworth, í sögulegri byggingu, 24 km frá Chatsworth House. The Tenth House exceeded all expectations. It's so beautifully and thoughfully laid out with the space used in very inventive ways. We loved our bedroom and our 3 year old adored 'his' room with not only bunkbeds but lots of toys and books for him. He also fell in love with 'Alexa' and DJ'd his heart out. The kitchen was very well equipped with everything we needed, bathroom was beautiful and the little living room on the first floor a lovely place to cosy up in the evening. Location is also great, right in the middle of this gorgeous little town and there are plenty of things to do in the vicinity. One thing we noticed is that as we were visiting in June, a lot of the kids attractions weren't open on the weekdays yet, so take that into account. Kelly and Martin were excellent hosts and, although not present, were attentive and responsive throughout our stay, responding to and solving little problems and questions. They provided amazing information ahead of time, including local sights, eateries and other logistics, but also very comprehensive information on the house. We really appreciated little touches like how to get a pint from next door while still staying in the little courtyard in range of the baby monitor! It makes such a difference to get advice from families with small kids who get it. I would say the house is perfect for a family of 2 adults and 2 children, max. The stairs are very steep, so make sure children are confident with stairs.

Crystal Cottage - 5 mín walk from Holmfirth Town Centre er staðsett í Holmfirth og býður upp á borgarútsýni og ókeypis WiFi, 22 km frá Victoria Theatre og 32 km frá Clayton Hall Museum. The cottage was absolutely beautiful, the host was fabulous and very welcoming, they went above and beyond our expectations to accomodate me and my bridesmaids the night before my wedding!

Lovely clean cottage. Lovely big bath. Everything you need. Martin and Sarah were lovely and made sure everything was top notch.

The Lodge er staðsett í Cressbrook í Derbyshire-héraðinu og er með verönd og útsýni yfir ána. Ókeypis WiFi og ókeypis bílastæði eru í boði við sumarhúsið. It felt like living a bit in the now and a bit in the past. It was comfortable and had all the things we needed. Most of all, the setting and the view is beautiful. I loved the bird songs the sheep across the valley, the horses in the pasture next to the house. And the house was cozy and cute.

Barlow Country Club - Mill Farm Cottages er gististaður með garði í Dronfield, 15 km frá Chatsworth House, 18 km frá FlyDSA Arena og 36 km frá Buxton-óperuhúsinu. Beautifully furnished. Large comfortable beds, good for tall adults. All 3 bedrooms were good and no-one would feel they were short-changed. Dog walking from the cottage - on-lead in the fishing club area but access to footpaths outside this area where off-lead is acceptable Countryside code permitting. Good pubs nearby but also good equipment and storage in kitchen to make own meals (large fridge freezer, range cooker, good knives.)

There isn’t anything I can say about the property it was just the perfect place to be the cottage itself was stunning the living standards were second to none 100% would recommend anyone to stay at Knockerdown cottages

The Cottage, Grotton Hall, Lydgate, Saddleworth er sumarhús með garði og grillaðstöðu en það er staðsett í Saddleworth, í sögulegri byggingu í 15 km fjarlægð frá Clayton Hall Museum. The location was great because it is next to Grotton Hall and is located through some gates behind a wall, away from the main road. It's also close to most amenities in Lydgate and everything such as pubs and supermarkets are easy to get to. Great for a hiking weekend too as the North Peak District isn't far away.

The cottage was wonderful in every way. Everything you could ever need for a comfortable stay. I mean everything. Very clean . Great communication from booking to extra information in the cottage. Top class. In fact hard to beat. Will go again . Already planning when . So we can visit the places around we didn't get to go. And just to return to this wonderful cottage . Felt like home.
