Nice welcome pack (milk, wine, biscuits, bread, jams, tea, coffee, etc.). Second floor bedroom and bijou bathroom and toilet. Small garden and seating area in front of the cottage. Positioned in a farming environment with beautiful views over the dales. Green fields and meadows boarded with ancient dry stone walling. Waking distance to the local village 10 min. walk. Recommend the pub. Nice place to use as a base to explore the surrounding areas. We would happily return!

Lovely house in a lovely area. Helpful hosts provided a useful information document before my stay which I really appreciated. Lots of nice touches around the place, including a record player. Great place to relax for a few days. Bus stop 5 minutes walk away.

It felt like living a bit in the now and a bit in the past. It was comfortable and had all the things we needed. Most of all, the setting and the view is beautiful. I loved the bird songs the sheep across the valley, the horses in the pasture next to the house. And the house was cozy and cute.

Great location for getting around. Very clean and cozy, well equipped with everything we needed. Nice comfy bed. The shower was amazing. Plenty of parking. All the staff we met were very friendly and helpful. Joanne was lovely, with great communication before our stay. It was a pleasure to finally meet her. Happy to recommend this property to family and friends. Would definitely stay again! 😁

Knockerdown Cottages is set in Ashbourne and features a heated pool and garden views. There is a private entrance at the holiday home for the convenience of those who stay. There isn’t anything I can say about the property it was just the perfect place to be the cottage itself was stunning the living standards were second to none 100% would recommend anyone to stay at Knockerdown cottages

Situato a Saddleworth, nella regione di Greater Manchester, il Cottage, Grotton Hall, Lydgate, Saddleworth dispone di una terrazza. The location was great because it is next to Grotton Hall and is located through some gates behind a wall, away from the main road. It's also close to most amenities in Lydgate and everything such as pubs and supermarkets are easy to get to. Great for a hiking weekend too as the North Peak District isn't far away.

Excellent cottage, felt like home. So very well appointed - didn't want for anything. Martin was so helpful prior to our arrival with information and also let us know that we could even check in early too!
