We received a nice treat from the host. It feels like more than a house; it feels like 'home.' The facilities, especially the kitchen, are excellent. Everything is clean, and the bed is so comfy. We had a great night here.

What an incredible view - this cozy stay was a perfect recharge after long days of exploring the westfjords. The house was incredibly clean, cozy, and we enjoyed a nice night of watching Icelandic TV in bed. Would absolutely book again.

I was having a hard time deciding on what to book when in the area, and i'm extremelly happy i booked my night here. First i was greeted by this beautiful dog ad then i met the owner! Very nice, wellcoming and happy host. Cabins are beautiful and super cozy! Amazing views to the mountains and the fields around! If you need any assistance the owners live close by. Kitchen is well equiped. Very clean, confortable beds and nice shower. There is an area outisde where you can sit and drink a coffee or wait for the northern lights. It's a great spot to catch the auroras! Varmahlíð is closed by and you cab do shopping there or order some food. There are 2 petrol stations here. Will definitely come back next time i'm in the area. Loved the piece and quiet of the place! Thank you!

Íslandsbærinn /Old Farm har utsikt över trädgården och erbjuder boende med en uteplats och kaffemaskin, 44 km från Goðafoss. Everything! The place was perfect - well stocked with all you can think about, and more! It was such a pity we were only there for one night. The host received us personally and walked us through every nook and cranny of the house and how we could get the hot tub running. Best stay of our entire trip in Iceland!

The interior of the house was an unexpected, and very cool, surprise. The host even brought us coffee as she couldn't remember if it had been stocked or not. Though we didn't use it, the house had both a washer and dryer for our use.

Laxárdalur Cabin ligger på en gård i Árhólar, 11 km från huvudvägen. Här erbjuds stugor med kök, matplats och eget badrum, 45 minuters bilresa från Einarsstaðir och 80 km från Akureyri. WiFi är... the cabins are in a beautiful river valley (we had not realized when booking that it’s still a bit of a drive from Myvatn, but it was worth it) and they’re very nicely equipped with everything you need, including a little kitchen (which is great, since the location is a bit remote).

I only have good things to say about this place! First, it is a great option if you want to stay near/or visit Akurieri. It is a very good stop if you're doing the Ring road. Second, the apartment is very beautiful with large windows and a wooden veranda overlooking a beautiful mountain. You also have a grill on your very own veranda that you can use. The area is quite lovely. We really enjoyed the hot tub (heated with thermal water), conveniently located in front of the houses. This is a good pit stop for all travelers that feel the need to unwind and relax after a couple of days of hiking and sightseeing.
