Housed in a historic building, Homelands Guest House offers accommodation with a garden and free WiFi in Barnard Castle, less than 1 km from Bowes Museum. I loved the style of the decorations. Even though I only stayed for 2 nights I enjoyed my stay at Homelands. Because my flight got delayed, I couldn't arrive at the check-in hour. The owners were so kind and gave me and upgrade for a room I could easily acces when coming late. Also the food at breakfast was delicious and you could order in advance what you want so you wouldn't have to wait for it in the morning.
