Good location for an event we were attending at the Rugby Club. Very secure with coded entrance and key safe box. Spacious room, clean and comfy with towels and linen provided. Good sized en suite shower room. Great to have the option of a shared lounge/kitchen area as well. Plenty of places to eat/drink right on the doorstep.

Less than 10 minutes’ walk from South Shields’ beach and Ocean Beach Pleasure Park, this 3-star guest house offers free Wi-Fi access. I had a the most pleasant stay at Beechwood Guesthouse and Rez, who runs the property, has been extremely helpful looking after us and making this an excellent holiday. The cooked breakfast served was absolutely fabulous and extremely delicious. All in all I would strongly recommend this place to everyone as there are only six roms available which means it does not get crowded and consequently you can have a very relaxing holiday. I will most definitely come back and stay in this lovely place.

Really enjoyed our stay, really lovely hotel, very comfortable and extremely clean, very welcoming and friendly staff, great location, breakfast was excellent....if we are ever in the area again I won't be looking for anywhere else to stay.

So in love with this room! It’s so big, and everything in the house including the room was very clean and hygienic and it means a lot especially with a person who gets allergies from noncleanliness. The room has cool led lights and helps you sleep easily. The corridors also has led lights especially at night time to prevent any falls which is super helpful. The owner was very responsive, respectful and kind and I look forward to rebooking this room in the future. Thank you truly for your stay!
