The Dolphin Inn Hostel features free bikes, garden, a shared lounge and terrace in Dunbar. More hotel than hostel the common areas are retro cool and comfortable. Everything is clean, clear, and organized. The staff -- especially Tom -- is brilliant. Extremely walkable location;. easy to take a Borders bus to Siccar Point, a major site in geology and the history of science. I would love to return.

Hostel was very clean and all facilities were well maintained. Easy to find as well and convenient location. Good response from admin in case of queries.

CoDE Co-Living - The LoFT is set on Rose Street North Lane, just a short walk from Princes Street. It offers modern interiors within a red brick-clad period building. I loved the "ladies only" dorm, it made things easier. The industrial design is modern and fuss free, very relaxing. I've been looking forward to trying a pod for a while now, and I've not been disappointed. I'll stay again if I ever have to come back to Edinburgh.

Situated in central Edinburgh, the High Street Hostel offers free WiFi in all areas. Dating back to 1564, this historic property is on a small side street, just off the Royal Mile. Quirky, fun decor. Incredibly helpful staff. Provided locking lockers in the rooms. Location was PERFECT.

Five minutes’ walk from Edinburgh Station and less than 10 minutes from Edinburgh Castle, Royal Mile Backpackers enjoys a central location surrounded by bars, cafés and restaurants. I loved the staff: first, they agreed abs rescheduled my stay because my visa decision was delayed. Then they let us drop our bags some hours before the check in and all in all, were very helpful thorough-out the stay. Everything was clean, there was free tea, coffee and hot chocolate. We were also given towels in exchange for a follow on Insta 😂

Just 50 metres from Edinburgh’s bustling Princes Street, Haystack Hostel is set in a renovated 18th-century Georgian building. The place is super clean, the location is amaizing and the staff is super friendly. My friends and I felt always safe and comfortable.
