Wonderful suroundings and a beautiful building. I liked the vibe of a country hostel with the facilities such as shower- and drying-room. It was very quiet and peaceful during winter and close to hiking trails as well as the train station.

The property was so clean and comfortable and big enough to accommodate us all very easily. We were fortunate enough to have lots of sunshine so we enjoyed walks, a BBQ and a fire. We had plenty of shared meals in the big dining room.

Location, lovely staff, delicious breakfasts, free access to most of the building (lounge, game room, library), bonfire area. Mattress was quite hard but that's what we like and we slept like a babies
